Ben did a great job for me! Long story short: I've been having major electrical and HVAC issues for the past two months. I needed to upgrade the wiring for our A/C unit. The old aluminum wiring just wasn't cutting it anymore. I got a couple quotes before I reached out to Ben via Yelp. He came by and inspected the A/C unit and explained exactly what he needed to do to get all wiring up to code. I also wanted three LED shop lights installed in the garage. I was tired of replacing tubes and ballasts. He quoted me a fair price and scheduled the job a couple weeks out (family vacation). He showed up a few minutes late BUT he had let me know that he was running a little late. No issue there! Ben showed up and did a great job rewiring and installing the lights. I hope I don't need to use him soon but if I do, he's getting my business for sure!!

I was doing some work in my backyard shed and turned on a miter saw to cut some wood. Unfortunately, powering up the miter saw tripped a breaker on my electrical panel. No big deal EXCEPT the breaker wouldn't reset and half of my house was now dark while the other half still had juice. Tried everything I could think of to fix the issue but couldn't figure it out. Wife was not impressed...
Sent out a request for electrical work on Yelp. Mind you this was a Monday night around 9:45pm. Got a response from Benjamin via Yelp in approximately 10 minutes. In the response Benjamin offered to come right over to troubleshoot the issue but he also offered to walk me through a few things over the phone.
Called up Benjamin who talked me through a few troubleshooting steps but none of those actions fixed what ailed my home's electrical. No worries, Benjamin said he could be out at my house the next morning by 10am.
Next morning, my wife and kids left the house to find some more comfortable environs to shelter-in-place while I was tasked with figuring out what the heck was going on. Thankfully, Benjamin showed up promptly and was quickly able to determine that only one of our two power lines from PG&E's pole was delivering the proper 120 volts to our main panel.
Benjamin then helped me connect with PG&E who would have to fix their lines to restore power to the house. Benjamin made sure that the PG&E folks knew exactly what was going on and that I was in good hands before heading out.
It took about 4 PG&E guys to determine what was needed and ultimately to repair the lines to my house but by 2pm power was fully restored.
I was happy to pay Benjamin's one hour fee for all of the support and information he provided even though he wasn't ultimately able to resolve the issue himself.
Friendly, honest, punctual and respectful. Just what we needed. Thanks Benjamin!

Ben is a life saver. I've called on him for a number of electrical type jobs. On each occasion he was upfront about the job prospects  & cost estimate. His work is clean, detailed, and  really...I mean really efficient. He's a very smart guy who seems to be able to look at and fix, almost anything.  And to top all that off, he's just a real nice, sincere guy. 

This morning we woke up to a freezing cold house. HVAC dead. Pretty much a nightmare on top of this shelter in place scenario. Ben ordered the part and came by after his work day to install this evening. Life saver!
