Furnace install. Looks great and works great. They improved a few things that were out of code from the old 20 year old furnace installation. The installer did more than the minimum required for the job and it is all top notch work.

Update. Our shower backed up and a fine gentleman from Bellows came out. After trying to up-sell me on some package deal before even looking at the problem, he put a camera under the house and said:

""Yep, you have a big root blocking the pipe. It's gonna be a big job to get that out."" This was under the house where there are no trees for 50 yards. He scoped a bit further and the water started to drain through. ""Ahh, there's a crack in the pipe down near the street. It's going to be a pretty big job. We're going to need to get city permits, tear up the sidewalk, replace the pipe, etc. You should take care of it right away. "" I asked if the crack had anything to do with the recent water blockage. ""No, but it may collapse in the future and cause a blockage."" Hmmm.

As he was calculating the bid for the cracked pipe, he asked me what I did for a living. What the heck does that have to do with it? It shouldn't matter. After telling me it would be over $3500, I asked him about the tree root blocking the pipe earlier. ""Don't worry about it, it's fine."" WTF? I paid the $100 for him to come scope under the house and denied the other work.

Here's what happened. He probably unclogged the pipe with the camera. At that point, the job was done. Instead he made up some BS about an urgent tree root problem that later in the conversation became ""No big deal"". He then pressured me into a monstrous job, unrelated to the blockage, that needed to be done urgently.

Yes, I'll probably replace the crack. But not right now.

There is definitely a reason Bellows is diamond certified! They are professional, punctual, efficient, and friendly. They have a passion for Santa Cruz and it shows. They replaced a sewage line outside my apartment in what seemed like no time at all. Whenever I have any pluming issues I will definitely be calling them back! Thanks!

I am really satisfied with Bellows. We had a new water softener installed in our home. It was truly a nice experience to work with a professional like Kevin. He was competent, efficient, and considerate. And their folks on the phone were great, too. Great price, as well. Don't let the premium value they offer with Diamond certification, they are very cost competitive.

Needed help fast (on Sunday) for a leak under our mobile home. Didn't realize there was a leak until about 9 AM at which time I turned off our water. Because of medical reasons we couldn't wait for long. I called Bellows about 9:30 AM and got an answering service. I left a message and our phone number. They called back promptly and rearranged another appointment and got to us before noon! The problem was fixed in less than an hour and the price was very reasonable. The plumber was very courteous and professional. Nothing but good things to say about this experience.

I used Bellows twice for two different warehouse heaters and there was a minor communication/diagnostic problem with the second one. Too long to write it all, but their technician was great and Jason the CEO took care of the minor problem personally and promptly. I will definitely use them again.
