I have an in home recording studio that pulls many thousands of watts when running at full tilt. The house is old and so is the wiring. I kept blowing fuses and I believe there was a real fire risk, so I called up Belco to re-wire the room and add high amperage fuses and sockets to the room.
Yuri came and had the job done quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. Now I can pull all the power I need without worry.
I would absolutely call him again for any other electrical services.

We purchased a new dishwasher and when it was delivered and about to be installed, we discovered that the old one was hardwired and the new one needed a plug outlet. The delivery company for Best Buy could not do the work so I searched Yelp and found Yuri. Called him on Monday, he arrived promptly on time Tuesday for our appointment. He helped me remove the old dishwasher and within an hour he had installed the plug. His price was completely fair and reasonable (less than another company I called). He was pleasant and professional. He is everything you expect in a tradesman --on time, does what he says he will do, charges you fairly. Totally recommend this man--no hesitation to use him again.

I bought a new electric car and needed a level 2 charger installed at my house so I could charge the car in a reasonable amount of time. I called Yuri and he gave me a quote over the phone to install it. A level 2 charger is 240 volts. The installation was pretty straightforward since our power panel is right on the other side of of our garage where I wanted the charger.

When I got the charger (HomeDepot.com), I called Yuri and scheduled for him to come out the next day. He was very prompt and completed the work in the estimated time. He and his assistant were very competent and neat in their work, including cleaning up the job site. The next day, Yuri emailed me an invoice for his work (since I needed an invoice for the federal tax credit next year).

I'd highly recommend Yuri.

Over the years a number of electrical things in the house broke down: the motion detector lights around the perimeter of the house stopped working as well as one of the bathroom fans.
I looked for an electrician in Yelp and one of the people I contacted was Yuri. He was quick to call me back and it was decided that I purchase new lights and fan. He quoted me a price for the labor that I believed was fair and made an appointment. He came on time and things went well except that the new bathroom fan could not fit exactly in the space of the previous fan. Yuri worked some magic and he was able to install the new fan. Even though he had to do extra work to fit the fan he honored the price he quoted. Since then I called him on two more occasions for other needed repairs.
He is now my ""Go To"" electrician whenever I need electrical work

I needed some electrical work done -- specifically some rewiring and moving two junction boxes. Called three different top-rate electricians on Yelp to come and give an estimate.

First guy's quote was a bit higher than I felt was right, and he tried to upsell me on some extra work he suggested I do. He then said he would email me a detailed quote along with his schedule. I never heard from him again.

Second guy never showed up.

Third guy was Yuri. He arrived exactly when he said he would and he quoted me a much better price for the same work as the first guy. He understood exactly what i needed and didn't try to upsell me on anything else.

On the day of the job, Yuri and his partner arrived right on time and go to work. They were both very friendly and respectful of my home. The job was finished in the time frame Yuri stated and the price was exactly what Yuri quoted (no last minute ""surprises""). In fact, when they finished they took some extra time to clean up the space they were working in and now the room looks cleaner than when they arrived.

Excellent service all around. Will definitely use again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a mini power outage and lights were going on and off. Some plugs would work and some wouldn't. Finally, nothing worked. We called Yuri on a Saturday morning and told him the situation and he said he'd be over at noon. He even called and showed up earlier than expected! It was awesome! When he came, he figured out the problem right away and fixed it very fast! He also fixed a few bad outlets that needed to be iced with no problem! Yuri was really really nice, picked up after himself, and very informative on what he was doing and why he was doing it. Excellent job!

About a year ago, we experienced a serious power surge at the house which left the outlets in 4 rooms fried and inoperable. Although I have swapped outlets and light switches before, I knew this was over my head. Since no one I knew was able to recommend a service based on firsthand experience, I was left evaluating a number of electricians and handymen on my own. I spoke with 7 in all and encountered everything across the gamut - free estimates, estimates for a fee, phone consults, hourly rates, job rates, etc. Ultimately, I hired the team at Belco electric based on Yelp reviews and my impression of the owner on the phone, even though Belco charges for the diagnostic visit. From my standpoint, I felt that Belco was able to clearly explain the underlying problem in terms that I could understand and alleviate concerns of being overcharged. To protect their competitive advantage, I will not divulge pricing, but will say that IMO, the cost of the repair was fair, upfront, and substantiated.

I have an older home and as most homeowners are aware, it is impossible to tell whether previous owners cut corners when it came to electrical repairs, until something goes wrong. This turned out to be the issue at my property so Belco was presented with the arduous task of first locating, and then fixing each problematic outlet that caused the surge. With regard to the repair itself, the team was punctual, efficient, and respectful of my space. I know that a number of reviews here reference Yuri, who is the main point of contact at Belco, but I want to recognize the entire team who kept me informed along the way, cleaned up after themselves, and also fixed + installed several outlets on my behalf without my asking. In fact a couple of the guys have a great sense of humor and seem to enjoy their work.

In short, as with any other home repair service, HVAC, plumbing, etc., no one likes having to call the electrician. That being said, among the multitude of options out there, I am very happy that I decided on Belco and will continue as a future customer.

I recently used Belco when one of our electrical outlets ""blew up"" on us. I called them, got an immediate answer from an actual electrician, and he was at my house later that day.

Like everyone else has said - they know what they're doing, they're very straight forward about what needs to be done, and just as important...they're straight with you on cost.

The electrician diagnosed the problem, did some rewiring, and we were good to go...all within a couple hours.

Just had an EV charger installed by Belco. Yuri was very professional and his pricing is very straight forward and fair. I had already had a number of other companies come out and give me estimates (and even asked one to come out and do the install but they no-showed). All of their prices seemed very inflated for what I thought needed to be done. I have some knowledge in electronics and it seemed pretty straight forward to me. I didn't understand why it was so expensive to install. Then I found Yuri.

After giving Yuri the specs and photos of the job site, he gave me a price (not an estimate or range, and over email [apparently he also thought it was straight forward]) that was all inclusive. It was also exactly what I would have expected it to cost me for the complexity of what needed to be done. The funny thing is that he is the only one out of 4 highly rated contractors on yelp that quoted me what I felt was a fair and reasonable price.

He came out and finished the job in 3-4 hrs including running the wire and installing the charger. Then tested everything... the charger, the panel to see how much current it was pulling, etc. Then he told me everything was fine and that he also guarantees his work.
