For generations, Basin Electric & Technology has been a trusted provider of electrical and technology services in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding regions. In 1950, Theron Gamblin founded Basin Electric. Shortly thereafter, in 1951, O.D. Schoolcraft and his son Charles joined the growing company. Since then, four generations of the Schoolcraft family have contributed to the Basin Electric legacy. However, the Gamblin and Schoolcraft families are not the sole contributors to the company’s success. Throughout the years, the hard work of Basin Electric's staff and their families has been essential to our growth. In 1950, we started with just six employees. In the tough economic climate of the mid-80s, while many companies shut down, we continued with only three staff members. Today, we are a thriving family of over sixty employees at Basin Electric. In 2014, we advanced into the future by joining forces with Just Macs, a local tech business owned by Henry Greer. This merger allowed us to evolve into Basin Electric & Technology.
