For generations, Basin Electric & Technology has been a trusted provider of electrical and technology services in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding regions. In 1950, Theron Gamblin founded Basin Electric. In 1951, O.D. Schoolcraft and his teenage son Charles began their careers with the fledgling company. Four generations of the Schoolcrafts have been integral to the Basin Electric family since then. The achievements of Basin Electric are also due to many other families who have supported its growth. Over the years, the dedication of Basin Electric's employees and their families has been vital to the company’s expansion. Our company started with only six team members in 1950. In the tough economic climate of the mid-80s, while many companies shut down, we continued with only three staff members. Today, Basin Electric has grown into a family of over sixty dedicated employees. In 2014, we took a significant step forward by merging with Just Macs, a local technology company led by Henry Greer. With this acquisition, we transformed into Basin Electric & Technology.
