For generations, Basin Electric & Technology has been a trusted provider of electrical and technology services in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding regions. Basin Electric was established in 1950 by Theron Gamblin. Soon after, in 1951, O.D. Schoolcraft and his son Charles embarked on their journey with the emerging company. The Schoolcraft family has been part of the Basin Electric story for four generations. The achievements of Basin Electric are also due to many other families who have supported its growth. Throughout the years, the hard work of Basin Electric's staff and their families has been essential to our growth. We began our journey in 1950 with a mere six employees. During the challenging economic times of the mid-80s, when many businesses closed, we persevered with just three employees. Now, Basin Electric is proud to be a family of more than sixty committed employees. In 2014, we took a significant step forward by merging with Just Macs, a local technology company led by Henry Greer. This merger allowed us to evolve into Basin Electric & Technology.
