B & O Electric Company
Company Overview
Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett started B and O Electric Company in 1974. Initially, the company focused on projects for churches and school expansions. In the late 1970s, Marion Bennett accepted a position with General Motors, leading to his departure from the company. The company was officially incorporated as B and O Electric Company Inc. in Georgia on March 22, 1984. As we expanded, we realized our interest leaned more towards industrial projects than our previous work. With our skilled team and knowledge, we ventured into industrial work, particularly controls for food processing facilities. Our control projects have included systems for dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor management, among others. We utilized equipment like programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters to implement these systems.
