B & O Electric Company
Company Overview
Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett started B and O Electric Company in 1974. Initially, the company focused on projects for churches and school expansions. During the late 1970s, Marion Bennett took a job at General Motors, which resulted in him leaving the company. On March 22, 1984, B and O Electric Company was incorporated in Georgia as B and O Electric Company Inc. As we grew, we discovered a stronger interest in industrial projects over our earlier work. We had the expertise and the team, so we pursued this direction and soon began working on controls for food processing plants. We have worked on control systems for various applications, including dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor controls. To achieve these systems, we employed tools such as programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters.
