Company Overview

In 1974, Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett established B and O Electric Company. At first, the company specialized in church and school additions. In the late 1970s, Marion Bennett accepted a position with General Motors, leading to his departure from the company. On March 22, 1984, B and O Electric Company was incorporated in Georgia as B and O Electric Company Inc. As we expanded, we realized our interest leaned more towards industrial projects than our previous work. We had the expertise and the team, so we pursued this direction and soon began working on controls for food processing plants. The control systems we developed encompass dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor management, to name a few. These systems were implemented using equipment such as programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters.
