Company Overview

B and O Electric Company was founded in 1974 by Clyde Ognio and Marion Bennett. At first, the company specialized in church and school additions. In the late 1970s, Marion Bennett accepted a position with General Motors, leading to his departure from the company. On March 22, 1984, B and O Electric Company was incorporated in Georgia as B and O Electric Company Inc. As we expanded, we realized our interest leaned more towards industrial projects than our previous work. With our skilled team and knowledge, we ventured into industrial work, particularly controls for food processing facilities. We have worked on control systems for various applications, including dry material storage, conveying, dough thickness, packaging, and conveyor controls. To achieve these systems, we employed tools such as programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and soft starters.
