Company Overview

While we tackle a wide range of jobs, AW Contracting specializes in restoring and fixing older residences.

The business began with me working part-time on a small market and some apartments in New Orleans. Within twelve months, I shifted to full-time work on diverse commercial and residential projects. After relocating to Texas in late 2005, I added plumbing and electrical services to my business. I spent many years servicing homes and businesses throughout southern and Central Texas. Moving to Mississippi in 2021 allowed me to enhance my family’s home life while reestablishing my business.

Ever since I was young, inspired by This Old House and similar programs on weekends, my passion for building and renovating homes has been constant. During my teenage and young adult years, I worked in various trades to gain hands-on experience. I used summers to build fences, decks, roofs, floors, siding, and other structures. Alongside practical work, I obtained certificates and degrees in locksmithing, plumbing, and electrical fields. I have worked on new and existing residential and commercial projects. I have built or renovated schools, eateries, rental spaces, historic houses, and others. I am skilled in almost all trades and will be upfront if I need to consult or hire a specialist. I am committed to ensuring my customers are satisfied with every job I undertake.
