Company Overview

Although we handle almost any project, AW Contracting focuses on renovating and repairing vintage homes.

The business began with me working part-time on a small market and some apartments in New Orleans. Within twelve months, I shifted to full-time work on diverse commercial and residential projects. Upon moving to Texas in the fall of 2005, I expanded my offerings to plumbing and electrical trades. I dedicated several years to projects in homes and businesses all over southern and Central Texas. In 2021, I relocated to Mississippi to improve my family’s quality of life and am now rebuilding my company.

Ever since I was young, inspired by This Old House and similar programs on weekends, my desire to build and restore homes has driven me. During my teenage and young adult years, I worked in various trades to gain hands-on experience. Each summer, I focused on constructing fences, decks, roofs, floors, and siding. I also earned certifications and degrees in locksmithing, plumbing, and electrical trades. I have experience with both new builds and renovations in residential and commercial settings. My portfolio includes schools, restaurants, leased spaces, historic homes, and more. I am skilled in almost all trades and will be upfront if I need to consult or hire a specialist. Customer satisfaction is my priority in all work I perform.
