Company Overview

While we tackle a wide range of jobs, AW Contracting concentrates on updating and mending historic houses.

The business began with me working part-time on a small market and some apartments in New Orleans. After a year, I was fully engaged in various projects, both commercial and residential. When I moved to Texas during autumn 2005, I expanded my offerings to plumbing and electrical trades. I dedicated several years to projects in homes and businesses all over southern and Central Texas. Moving to Mississippi in 2021 allowed me to enhance my family’s home life while reestablishing my business.

From childhood, watching shows like This Old House on weekends, I have always dreamed of constructing and renovating homes. During my teenage and young adult years, I worked in various trades to gain hands-on experience. Each summer, I focused on constructing fences, decks, roofs, floors, and siding. I also earned certifications and degrees in locksmithing, plumbing, and electrical trades. I have worked on new and existing residential and commercial projects. I have built or renovated schools, eateries, rental spaces, historic houses, and others. If a task is outside my skill set, I will let you know or bring in someone who can handle it. Customer satisfaction is my priority in all work I perform.
