The owner, Jerry Hall, entered the HVAC field in 1980 following a three-year stint in the U.S. Army. He established All-American Air Conditioning and Heating, which he sold in 1997. In 2002, Jerry returned to the comfort sector with the establishment of Assured Comfort Heating & Air. In 2004, after several successful years, Jerry learned that a National Guard unit from Douglasville, GA was being deployed to Iraq. In response, he committed to offering no-cost HVAC services to these heroic families. Since 2004, we at Assured Comfort have recognized the impact a single company can have on its community. As time has passed, we have evolved into a community-focused HVAC company. We actively engage in and contribute time and resources to various charitable organizations, both local and national.
Jerry Hall, a veteran and owner, established Assured Comfort in 2002. His primary objective is to deliver safe and knowledgeable home service solutions to metro Atlanta while giving back to the community. He values the importance of taking care of both clients and staff. He is part of the Chairman's Club of the Douglas County & Cobb County Chamber. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Douglas County Public Education Trust.

Andy P.The technician was great, however the company is false advertising and heavy price gauging during these tough times. They charged me $221 for a part worth $15 and took less than 1 min to replace, just because they know that I can't order it anywhere else without waiting less than 2-3 weeks. Not fair at all !!! I would not recommend you to use this company.
Came out to do service on my AC I needed a new pump and told me the pump was $400.00 plus and showed me the pump he was going to install I took a picture put the part number in amazon and got it for 38.00 dollars

It really pains me to write this review however for home owners like me who depend on the honesty of others to find good competent companies, I had to.
I had a leaking AC and invited this company to come out for a diagnostic, the rep who came gave me a battery of misinformation about what I needed. The only solution he had was I needed a new AC for close to $5000! I actually almost did it except he was not consistent in his quote. His diagnosis was wrong, he charged close to $400 to add Freon to my system which he claimed was the reason for the leak and should temperament the issue until I got a new AC system however that night, my AC was leaking again and has been since until another company came out, correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for $167. So I am unclear if the problem with the tech/company was dishonesty or incompetence, either way I am staying away.
Had a contract with Assured Comfort and they were the worst heating and air company I have ever used. For almost 50 yrs I have had heating and air work done on multiple residences and commercial locations and this company is the bottom of the barrel. I would never use or recommend them. All the owner does is advertise he is a veteran and expect suckers to use him.

My review for Assured Comfort H&A is less than stellar for several reasons. I had been using a small company for 18 years and always felt they were giving me a legitimate and honest deal. This company was bought out by Assured last year so I gave them a call for issues going on at one of my rentals. The tech (Kenneth) came out on time I might add and gave me a list of items that should be replaced. He also stated that I needed a new unit that would be approx. $4500. I was out of town so I told him to just replace what was needed to repair the unit. He said it would be approx. $1100. When I received the invoice I did research online and realized I was charged $554 to replace a condenser fan motor (not the blades). The most expensive motor I could find online was $200. Dual Capacitor was $221 and online they cost in the $50 range.
These prices may be the new norm I'm not sure. The tech was there two hours so the price discrepancy could be in the per part pricing list the company may go by.
I called Assured to get an explanation of the charges and offer them an opportunity to explain the cost differences. It has been four business days and I haven't heard back from anyone. If I had had the time then I would have gotten a few quotes as I will next time.
Bottom line I am sure this is my fault. I just wish large companies had the same business integrity as small businesses did in the past.
Tyson ..This company keeps calling to reschedule 3 times even though my partner is very sick (coughing alot) because we are now having mold in the house and this is VERY important to have the pipe checked out before the blockage and the leak started to get worse! We paid for the insurance with their company and still have not been done! We would not recommend this company to anyone!
