I had the pleasure of talking to Bill, who walked me through my alarm crisis. My alarm started sounding for no reason at all, and it would not shut off (the alarm wasn't even turned on). I called Bill, who I've never had the pleasure of doing business with, not only did I reach a real person, Bill was very nice, patient and professional. As my alarm was wailing in the background, I was agitated, yet Bill was calm, patient & understanding while he helped me through the process. This review is long over due! We've been using Bill since 2001 at our tire shop in SSF. The security system is very reliable and the service you get from Bill and his team is what kept us with him for 10 plus years. When ever we had any issues, Bill was only a phone call away, and his team solved our problems in no time! We had experience with ADP before, and I would never receive such prompt service and professionalism as I would with Associated Security.
For the best customer service (which is hard to find now a days) and security, call Associated!!

Bill and his crew are always responsive and professional with each of their visits in the past years. Their attention to our needs surpasses large security companies that we used to deal with. Bill is up to date on the current technology and would take time explaining the benefits of new security features, however he was never pushy about selling, which I appreciate.

Time I write a review about Associated Security. I've been using Associated since I bought my home-- a long time. Alarm systems are needed and Need ongoing support. Things happen and when they do you want Associated ( I wish the name was shorter....) on your side. I've known Bill for at least 20 years. He's a good guy to know for many reasons. He does excellent work. He's honest. He's reliable. He's knowledgeable. What more would you want?

What he is not:

1) a sales guy. My system is not a newer model flashy bells and whistles system-as we've had a few service calls in the last six months I asked if we should just put in a new model - more reliable. Nope. ""If it ain't broke..."" if and when the time is right he'll make the recommendation.

2) unreliable-- quite the opposite- if he says he'll be there - he will and at the time he quoted. Try that with Comcast as you sit around for 4 hours waiting.

As I mentioned I've had a few service calls for faulty zones- trouble light indicating a problem with the contact.

So the last time Bill comes out from under the house looking like a dust ball and suggests we replace the wiring to the two trouble zones. Seems they were in bad shape and he just couldn't trouble shoot then with accuracy any longer. Quoted me a price based on an estimate of time and amount of help he'd need to complete. I said 'ok' and scheduled the repair.

The day came - they were on time and smooth as silk the job was done earlier than expected. Bill tells me he reduced the price by ""x"" -- did I agree that was fair? Well yes, more than fair. I never brought it up and would have paid the original quote but happy to save a few $ for sure.

Today I called because a light stayed on -/ we'd been traveling for 4 days -- and couldn't figure out how to clear it despite actually reading the manual. 2 hours later he called and walked me through it. He is Mr Service.

Kind of old school service. Like I like it. Please use him. I want him around for a long time.

I had to have a followup visit from Bill and Frankie, about a month after their 1st visit, and they found a small wire that had been ""nicked"" and had broken off, so the system could not be armed. They corrected the wiring, and because they couldn't be sure if they had done the nicking on their 1st visit a month earlier, Bill gave me a discount off the 1 hour visit charge, which I very much appreciated! Once again, very good service. Thanks Bill and Frankie!

I needed to have a system battery replaced in my ADT alarm system. I called and scheduled an appointment with Bill. He came out during the hour time window he gave me. He knew where to look to find the system where the battery was located (now I know what that cabinet is!), and successfully replaced it pretty quickly. He even told me what I can do to replace it myself when it needs replacing in another 5-7 years. I am a happy customer.

Associated Security Alarm Co understands what it means to provide excellent customer service! Bill was professional right from the beginning, from calling me back right away to asking the right questions to understand my dilemma. On the day of service I received professional courtesy calls advising me of exact ETA.
These small communications are not to be taken for granted as I've have multitude of deliveries and other services where there was a ""range"" of scheduled service time with zero communication from the companies--I'd basically just sit around wasting my whole day off waiting. I REALLY appreciated the communication and the time taken to answer any remaining questions that I had!

Lastly I have to give LOTS of KUDOS to the technical team that Bill sent over. Frankie and Jaime were equally professional. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They worked well together as a team to solve my problem (which turned out to not be an easy one to tackle). Jaime gets extra recognition for holding and calming my dog when we were testing the alarm!

I would highly recommend this company! I am seriously considering switching over my service all together. Associated Security Alarm came through for me when my original alarm company did not!!! Thanks so much Bill!!

Great knowledge and customer service.... I had associate security alarm install a custom alarm system in my moms house in Hillsborough... Bill was patient with us, explained in detail all the options available to us and helped us design and install a custom alarm system that fit our needs... extremely knowledgeable and skilled staff and office.....always available to answer our questions.... thank you associate security alarm for making this so easy for us.
