I cannot recommend Ashby Maintenance enough. They did an amazing job removing an old fluorescent light fixtures in our kitchen with new LED lighting fixtures. They also patched a hole in the ceiling from an upstairs plumbing repair.

I communicated with Gary both by phone and text. He responded quickly and scheduled the jobs at a time that worked for us. I had contacted at least five other handyman-type businesses and everyone quoted higher pricing, sometimes excessively so. There were one or two who offered the same price but they weren't nearly as timely in their responses as Gary.

We will be using Ashby Maintenance again to update other lighting in our home to LED. If there are any other small projects around the home that need to be done, we will definitely be using Ashby Maintenance again.

I sent Gary a text on Sunday requesting a quote to replace 5 patio beams and brackets. I received a response shortly after, received a quote on Wednesday, and had the work completed by Friday.

Gary and his worker were very friendly to talk to about my kitchen faucet installation for 150.00 for about 45 minutes which I thought was fair. He also tighten my kitchen cabinet door for free. I would call him back again for any future problems that may occur. Seems to know a lot about his job. He also takes care of a apartment complex which would cover a lot of problems I run into at my house.

I want to update my previous review. Gary sent me a note immediately and apologized for the mix-up. He showed up on time for our next appointment and was very professional. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the list of things that I needed taken care of. Thank you, Gary.

I had called asking whether he could do a handful of small things for us (my mother passed away a few weeks ago and there were important little things that we had wanted done before the service at our home). He said he'd swing by Saturday at 8:00 a.m. before his first appointment and give me a quote. I waited for almost three hours for him to arrive (thinking maybe he couldn't come by beforehand, but would come by after). No call, no text, no show. I hope he works out well for others.
