I sent Gary a text on Sunday requesting a quote to replace 5 patio beams and brackets. I received a response shortly after, received a quote on Wednesday, and had the work completed by Friday.

The price was good and the work area was clean. I would definitely use his service again.

Gary and his worker were very friendly to talk to about my kitchen faucet installation for 150.00 for about 45 minutes which I thought was fair. He also tighten my kitchen cabinet door for free. I would call him back again for any future problems that may occur. Seems to know a lot about his job. He also takes care of a apartment complex which would cover a lot of problems I run into at my house.

I want to update my previous review. Gary sent me a note immediately and apologized for the mix-up. He showed up on time for our next appointment and was very professional. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the list of things that I needed taken care of. Thank you, Gary.

I had called asking whether he could do a handful of small things for us (my mother passed away a few weeks ago and there were important little things that we had wanted done before the service at our home). He said he'd swing by Saturday at 8:00 a.m. before his first appointment and give me a quote. I waited for almost three hours for him to arrive (thinking maybe he couldn't come by beforehand, but would come by after). No call, no text, no show. I hope he works out well for others.

I highly recommend Gary of Ashby Maintenance. I had an odd-job need - securing a 500 lb wine cabinet (size 88"" high x 51"" wide x 29"" deep) for earthquake safety. Because of where the cabinet had to be placed and its positioning, it wasn't an easy task. I needed to find someone with vision and skill - a course of action for the best job possible. I called to schedule time for him to stop by for a quote. He showed up on time, and quickly figured out what was needed. We scheduled a date for the job to be done. He showed up a few minutes early (I appreciate that!) and executed the job efficiently. Once the cabinet was secured, Gary also installed a 55 lb cooling unit into said cabinet. I highly recommend Gary for your handyman needs. Friendly, respectful and efficient. I'm very thankful.
