So I had previously reviewed ARC Electrical Services, giving it 3 stars, not a bad review, but I had given them this rating because I felt that there was certain communication from them that was incomplete or inaccurate regarding the EV charger I was recommended to purchase and the capabilities of the circuit installed at our home, used for this charger. After explaining this to Domingo and Victor at ARC, they went above and beyond, and gave me a partial refund on the work performed, which was very fair. I would recommend ARC Electrical Services because they care about the work they perform, do quality work, and want to earn your trust and satisfaction.

Well, not sure I can give any stars regarding the work because I did not get any work done. I was told that an electrician will come out for $69 service fee. May be most of you are familiar with the term ""service fee"", but $69 is service fee is just to come to your place. Then there is additional diagnostic fee (around 370 for my one circuit failure), which they didn't tell me at the time of scheduling an appointment. I clearly told them in messaging about my problem. So, just for those who are ignorant about the ""service fee,"" please ask for all possible fees.

We did the electrical panel upgrade project with ARC. They did the decent job finishing the work even though we had some troubles and delays with the PGE for the permits, approvals, connect and disconnect. I think its just part of the process. Victor sent the technician Carlos who is very knowledgable and spent extra day as PGE asked to make few changes. The final inspection went smooth and inspector was very impressed with their work.

Excellent work in installing a level 2 EV charger. Clean and elegant work, amazingly fast. even moved my cord hanger to the new location.

This negative review has been in the works since 2020 when we hired ARC to replace our existing landscape lighting. The initial installation was done by very young service people who appeared to have little experience and were sloppy and lazy with burying the lighting wire. We experienced a couple of hiccups with the initial service which Victor, the owner, rectified.

Fast forward to June 2022 when the timing mechanism on our lights stopped working. After contacting ARC, we were told that: ""We could def go out it would be $115. Im sure if theres anything wrong with equipment it would be covered under warranty material from manufacturer"". ARC came out and advised us that one of the transformers needed to be replaced.

To this day (December 2022), we have heard nothing back from ARC, despite repeated email requests and being told that ""if theres anything wrong with equipment it would be covered under warranty material from manufacturer"".

The question remains: Why haven't we heard back and why hasn't the transformer been replaced? What possible reason could there be? Supply-chain issues? We're happy to pay for their time but we don't think we should have to pay for a new transformer.

As it stands now, my husband goes out every night and turns the front lights on and off. For that reason, I can't recommend ARC.

I had ARC for an estimate on a 10 circuit manual transfer switch for my generator. They were very responsive, it was easy and painless to get the estimate and I was very pleased with the price. Unfortunately due to the pandemic I was out of state for so long I decided to sell the house before I got to use them.

Victor and his team did a fantastic job with my recessed lighting project. We completed the whole estimate and finalized the contract from first contact to signed terms online in under an hour.
