I’m John Miller, and I started Aqua Plumbing in the mid-1970s. As a Master Plumber, I brought years of experience in subcontracting in residential, commercial, and new construction to my business. I initiated my venture with a lone truck and an assistant plumber. Our journey was prosperous from the start because we provided our clients top-notch service, excellent value, competitive pricing, honesty, and superior customer service.
With hard work and perseverance, our business flourished. In 1996, we added a Heating and Air Conditioning Division. We now maintain over 75 vehicles in our fleet and have become a Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer. In only our second year, we received the Carrier Award for installing more Carrier systems with approved Puron coolant than any other Florida contractor. By our third year of operation, Aqua had created and executed more residential and commercial air conditioning systems than any other Carrier Dealer in the state of Florida.

In 2018 I contracted Aqua Plumbing to replace the plumbing in a house that I was remodeling. Three years later I have a leak in the master bathroom. I called Aqua Plumbing to help me find the leak and repair it. They sent a Plumber out to repair it. Unfortunately, he could not find where the leak was coming from but he did charge me $379. I feel that they should stand behind their work since I originally paid them several thousand dollars to replace the plumbing in the house.
I also had Aqua Plumbing install a backflow valve. They quoted me a price of $610.00 but charged me $819.00.
Lesson learned, I not using them again.

The took advantage of senior citizen. Provided no quote and overcharged for work done. I contacted company and can't get them to return call.

They never performed a service for us. We called them to have a quote and they charged $150 for the call. We contacted them after asking for a refund but they never refunded us.

What a mess I had a clogged sink and washing machine water backing up They came and made hole in wall, fixed sink pipe and taped wall back up with duct tape and said they would be back to finish job. I wrote a check for over $700 dollars... They forgot to put pipe together under sink so when I turned water on , it came out all over floor. They came to tightened pipe and I never heard from them again. I have called and left messages, no one will call me back . I cannot do wash for fear pipe will burst I am calling Better Business to report them. I have a hole in wall and no idea why they refuse to take my call.

The ""U"" in Aqua must stand for ""upcharge."" I selected Aqua for replacing my hot water heater based on the price they quoted me. I set up the installation and then came the add-ons: 1) Even though they had my address from the start, I got a call the day before they were scheduled to arrive indicating that a $100 City permit fee was due, and that I had to pay it over the phone right then and there; 2) I may need a $100 ""expansion box""; 3) add a $50 pan (not part of the hot water heater price even though required by code and obviously sized to fit the hot water heater in question); and 4) a surprise $10 ""miscellaneous charge"" when I'm handed the final bill. When I asked the installer to explain that last item, he shrugged and said ""they make us put that on there."" I did get one reprieve: noting that I live in a condo (which they also knew from the start), they said the expansion box wouldn't be necessary. So far the new hot water heater is performing, but I have little patience with outfits that quote a low price to get the job and then take advantage of the customer with surprise upcharges.

Fixed one leak (shower) just fine. Did not bring a cartridge for my kitchen faucet leak. Tried to do something with it, but just made it much worse. Charged for the time for that , too.
I spoke to the office, & they said I should put in a water softener to avoid corrosion & install a new Moen faucet ( they would charge $600 for a faucet that I can buy in Home Depot for $175!!!!!!)
They caused the problem & then wanted to charge me big $$ to fix it!!!
I'm sure you can do much better elsewhere.

Aqua Plumbing & Air completes two jobs for us so far, and we were lucky enough to get the same plumber each time; Kosta is a remarkably competent, kind, and hard working plumber. He is a great communicator, and always takes the time to explain what the plumbing issue is, discuss options, and explain the way forward.
If Kosta is an indicator of the quality of employees at AP&A, then I think this company definitely understands how to hire great people and provide excellent customer service. Thanks!

Shower knob broke at 7pm call requested a tech. The technician gave me a run down of charges he could charge me. I ask him to please just come and help turn off my water. After an hour I called the technician who told me he had not left his house because he was unable to log a call into an iPad. This was so very frustrating as I've been sitting here thinking he was on his way. He was not nice and extremely condescending now 2 hours wasted and I'm waiting on another company to arrive.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I am not reviewing the actual plumbing services of Aqua because I didn't get that far. The one star is for the phone conversation when contacting this company during a plumbing emergency. I called with a plumbing emergency on a Saturday morning . A woman named Jules (?) answered the phone. It is fair to say I was rather in a panic, having woken up to the sound of water running in my walls. As a homeowner, there is no more chilling sound a sound like that, when you know all that gushing water sound is seeping in to your walls and surrounding floors and walls, sure to cost you thousands if it goes on too long.
So the person answering the phone was doggedly determined to get all the little boxes on some online intake form filled out without answering the question I asked multiple times 'can you send someone TODAY??'. Oh, no, nothing was going to deter Ms. Efficient from filling out that precious online intake form with a lot of questions that frankly could have waited until we booked an appt. I ended up hanging up on her after asking for the 3rd time if someone could come TODAY, as in RIGHT NOW. Did you hear me, lady? I have water gushing in my walls!! She wasn't willing to answer my basic question but thought I had all the time in the world to answer her 20 question intake form. I hung up on her and she calls back twice but by then I was already calling other plumbers. Oh, and by the way she claimed she didn't have my phone number (one of her 20 questions) but clearly she did so why play those time consuming pedantic games on the phone with a customer who is clearly feeling stressed out by the situation? Maybe they are the best plumbers in the world, who knows.... if people can't get past the phone call they will never know. Try answering the customers question first before you expect someone to sit there for 20 minutes indulging the minutae of your own process.

We had this company come out and service our hot water heater. They replaced two parts on site, were extremely reasonable in price, and the technician was EXTREMELY nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this company, they were also prompt and on time!
