This company is beyond professional. I received text alerts and tracking every step of the process. My technician, Aaron, showed up at 10am on the dot (I was given a time window of 10-10:30am). He was polite, knowledgeable, wasn't afraid of my dogs (that's a plus) and wanted me informed of what was happening. At the end of the day he fixed the issue that's been preventing us from using our new dryer for 3 months, in 10 minutes. Their original message to us stated that if its a minor problem then they only charge one normal hourly fee ($195). He didn't charge us because he was only out to do an estimate. We were set on having to pay at least the $195 so this came as an incredibly welcomed surprise! He could have easily over charged us with some added in non-sense and we would have paid it for this 3 month long nightmare to end. Instead he was honest and fair. They may not have made a profit off us today but we now most certainly have locked in go-to electrical professionals as long as we live in this area. We need more electrical work done soon and we will definitely be hiring AO again.

If Aarons manager/supervisor happens to see this, we are beyond happy with his service and once again we just moved to this area and will absolutely request additional services just based on how amazing the whole process was and Aarons service.

Giving them a 3 star due to the fact that the technician came out and actually removed plugs and inspected. I was having an issue with my fridge tripping my GFCI. We brought a new fridge and it was tripping the plug. They came out and inspected and let me know that they would not do any repairs to my home due to my panel box being made by Zinsco. They don't touch those panels. They recommend and complete panel replacement meant. $4500-9000 which just seems crazy to me that they would suggest that. They didn't even suggest replacing the outlets. Also they suggested we also run a dedicated 20 amp circuit to the refrigerator.

When me and my wife thought more about it, the kitchen had been remodeled and where the original fridge was it did have a dedicated circuit. But the homeowners we bought it from tied it into a GFCI circuit after the remodel.

We did eventually repair the outlets and now the fridge works fine with the help of a friend.

I was given a text 30 minutes before Zachary's arrival to my house and arrived almost right at 8am when I was given a 8-9am window. He was able to install the ceiling fan I had bought in an hour. The price stayed at the original estimate, and the fan works as expected. Overall it was a nice and simple experience, and would definitely recommend.

Just didn't follow through on requested estimate of cost...

POSITIVES - The staff at AO were professional, courteous ...especially Kaylee technical staff that performed estimate and support staff. Thank you!

NEGATIVE - It's been over three weeks since the initial in-person assessment was performed with the PROMISE that a written estimate of cost would be provided by (1) the end of the day of assessment; (2) the next day; (3) the next day; (4) next week for sure; (5) promises promises but no estimate.

In the companies defense, they said the had a higher priority EMERGENCY job that needed work...but they NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH...

DISSAPOINTING.....Hopefully this situation is an anomaly...and gave them every opportunity to make it up...but no estimate...

CONCLUSION-Nice folks, hope they'll do better but I had to take my business to a company that was professional, prompt, courteous and DELIVERED RESULTS.

AO Electric was great. My electrical box essentially exploded on my house in Sacramento and AO came out within less then an hour and replaced the whole panel and box by the next day. Really appreciate all the help and would highly recommend.

The initial quality of craftsmanship and service was outstanding. They worked with us during our kitchen renovation which included upgrading the electrical box and adding new circuits. They were also patient with the inspectors alterations and fixed them right quick. They even worked on my parents house for a kitchen renovation and we couldn't have had better service or quality. However, in the past few months I have continuously reached out to Kaylee, for a new project, using different formats including phone calls, voice messages, texts, emails, even making to a new bid through Yelp- but not one word from Kaylee or anyone at AO Electric. I am not even sure they are in business anymore. I would recommend AO Electric again, but be warned their communication is not the greatest.

They showed up for the free estimate 15 minutes after the two hour window. Said that I'd get an estimate of the work the next day. I've followed up multiple times with them saying, ""we'll get you the estimate ASAP"". That was the last I heard from them. Followed up three more times by text before giving up and writing this review.

Not sure how this is a sustainable way to run a business.

Overall I had a really great experience. I called on a Tuesday at 3pm and told them what was going on and that we needed someone to come out and check it out. Kaylee was at my house by 4pm that same day and diagnosed the issue very quickly. A couple of technicians came back first thing the next morning to put in a whole new electric panel. They worked with my landlord on the invoice and offered help dealing with the home insurance company. The following day Kaylee and another team member came back and replaced the stucco that they had to remove to get the old panel out. Kaylee and her team were awesome and communicative throughout the whole thing. One of the technicians did accidentally cut our Internet cable which was a bit frustrating but hey everyone's human. Overall I really enjoyed working with AO and I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to my friends in Sacramento!

The home I had the company inspected was built in 1950s and we were worried about wiring and electrical system -- whether it was good and safe. They came as scheduled. My youngest brother and the agent were there and asked some questions. I came late because I was at work. The first impression was that they were in a rush. I asked if they could stay for 5 more mins and they said no. I was okay and paid in cash without hesitation. This was last Friday. Then on Monday, my agent called the number 916-541-1544 as displayed on their website multiple times but had no response. Then I called over 7 times throughout the day on Monday. Then, I texted according to the voicemail someone named Kaylee. No call back and no reply from text either. That was all on Monday and the voicemail said it would call back within 24 to 48 hours. that is a lie. My agent was able to get a hold of the electrician through texts.

So on, Tuesday, we, the buyer and the agent, contacted them by any mean (texting and calling) then my agent texted this number 916-541-1544 and was able to get a hold of Kaylee. She responded my agent texts and ignored my texts. Sounds like I'm complaining too much here but this is a very bad service. But, at the end, we received the report and we had many questions that were needed to clarify. Send out an email and never got a reply back.

I totally understood the house market is crazy right now and they were extremely busy. But seemed like they don't have the bandwidth (enough people) to take care of everything. Just showed up, did the inspection, then be gone after getting paid. No responses when trying to call, text or email for clarification.

They provided some cost estimate for some upgrades and fixing but I doubt my family would ever want to have the service again. If you are in a rush, I highly recommended find some other companies so you don't need to deal with what happen next. Also, I'm sure after so many calls, Kaylee probably ignored my phone number. It is unbelieved that the phone number is listed as 24/7 emergency service and never responded back. LOL

I'm not trying to sabotage this business. The company seemed to overload with work and unable to provide a good service. They are professionals seem like they know what they do. But I'm unhappy and dissatisfied with the service we received. Do yourself a favor. Think before calling.

It was hard looking for a right electrician to install additional wiring in my breaker box. AO made it easy. I thought they would get discouraged as all the wires were tangled up and had not been moved in many years. They were kind, patient, and did the work no questions asked at the fraction of the price these big wig crap companies charge. The best part is that it is a woman owned company and she comes out and does the best job. Way to show up the men!! Thank you AO and Kaylee!!
