I have never personally used American Electric but have recently had an experience with one of the Electricians. I was riding down the highway when the American Electric truck decided to cut me off even though there were about 6 car lengths worth of room behind me, he then decided to throw his middle finger up to me. We begin to go over a bridge when he moves to the side, rolls down the window and starts shouting at me and pointing to pull over the side as if he was going to fight me because he cut me off? I just drove past him and then he decided to stay an unsafe distance behind my car. I have video proof of the man harassing me, his the license plate number on the truck is 1884LSC and hes a white man with tattoos up his arm, brown hair down to his neck and a bread and mustache. I have never been so anger in a drive in my life but them man should not be driving and he should no longer be able to represent American Electric if hes going to make such a terrible impression on the company.

Cool knowledgeable dudes!! They came to install a couple lighting fixtures at my new place and mount my tv. They were efficient and very friendly. They were super cool about taking they're shoes off since I had the flooring redone. Would definitely recommend and hire for future jobs.

Kevin and Josh brought my parents house into 2017 with new wiring, new lights and new outlets. They work fast and thorough and seem to always be checking each other's work. They truly listened to our issues and provided reasonable remedies. They are also ridiculously nice. They felt badly that our six dogs would have to be crated for them to go in the backyard, so instead - they took the time to meet all of them! Definitely recommend.

American Electrical deserves all 5 stars and then some! Professional, courteous and competent would easily describe all encounters I had with their staff. Our electricians were Fred E. and Chuck. They spent several days completely rewiring our 90 year old home and I'm delighted with the outcome and with their professionalism and knowledge. I asked a million questions and had some very specific ideas on how I wanted some things done and they were patient and helpful at the same time they kept moving the job along. When employees have great customer service skills you know that is the culture at a business! As a result of Fred and Chuck's great service I am an American Electrical client for life! I say give those guys a much deserved raise!

After the positive reviews, I contacted them for some simple projects - hanging ceiling fans, exterior lights pre-wired. They turned out to be expensive, and when I turned one of the ceiling fans on a blade flew off. They charged to fix their mistake. The exterior lights have never worked correctly. I also had them run a cable outlet, and they installed a jack without any wire running to it. They charged for the completed project. Of course in the attic they drilled multiple holes in the ceiling, never finding the correct location and never connecting the cable line. It would be like charging to add an electrical outlet without attaching the electricity. Overall dishonest, overpriced and no integrity standing by their work.
