I hired American electric to install a 240V plug for our new hybrid car. When I threw the job out to electricians on Yelp, Harry was the first to respond and responded quickly to every follow up email I sent him. He offered a fair price, based solely on my description of the job. The day of the install he arrived promptly, was friendly and explained thoroughly what he was going to be doing. We discovered that the rapid charger that I ordered actually arrived with a 50amp capability and not the 30amp I had described to Harry. Harry slipped down to a electrical supply store for the larger fuse he needed and finished the install neatly and quickly. Can't say enough good things about this company. I'd give 'em 6 Stars if Yelp allowed it! As I told Harry, it's not to 'have a guy' for all the electrical work I may need in the future!

We needed a number of electrical things done in our home. We called American Electric and got an estimate within a day. They removed a ceiling fan and installed recessed lighting in the kitchen, installed two ceiling fans and a pendant fixture, replaced several outlets, installed an outlet outside and three porch light fixtures. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and completed the work in one day.
We definitely would recommend American Electric Co. for any electrical work and, should we need further electrical work done, we will know who to call.

I hired American Electric to install two exterior lantern style lights, and exterior outlet ( for Christmas lights) and a light sensor. They arrived promptly, the employees were all very courteous and professional. They installed everything and even cleaned up whatever mess they made and moved back all my junk in my garage that was in the way of the fuse box.

They were very flexible when I had some issues getting the lights from the retailer and showed up either a very short time frame of me finally getting the light from the retailer. The work they performed was too notch, I am completely satisfied with everything they did.

I would most definitely use them again, and will in the future! I would recommend them to anyone looking to get professional electrician work performed.

Had them install a 240V receptacle for a new EV. Contacted them via Yelp and was quick to respond and came out that same day for an estimate. I always get 3 quotes and Harry came in right at the same price but I had the ""warm and fuzzy"" with him. Researched EV chargers for almost 2 weeks; no pressure or unwanted calls from them. Decided to go with Harry, he sent out 2 of his guys and they were very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly and went over my expectations. Will definitely recommend and will for sure use them again.

Harry installed a Tesla Wall Connector along with a new subpanel in our garage and I would recommend his services wholeheartedly to anyone requiring professional and prompt electrical service. When I initially called, he made the time to come over and evaluate the proposed job within an hour as he was in the area. I first became acquainted with Harry when he came to install some ceiling fans for me. In total he has installed 7 ceiling fans at two different homes for me. He takes pride in his work and would not leave until every fan was properly balanced and made no noise. I was so impressed with his work and attitude that I kept his info in case I needed an electrician at a later date.
That date came when I wanted to install cameras around my home. I had asked another electrician to bid as well and that guy simply said he couldn't do it. Harry was not only willing to take it on but gave a very reasonable bid.

On the day of the job, Harry arrived on time with his assistant and got straight to work. This was a very difficult job, I could tell. I have a new home and the drilling through the stucco and cable pulling was hard work. They crawled up in the attic spaces, got on ladders and did everything to put the cameras in the places I wanted them. Harry was also able to tap into some existing network cabling in my home to hook up one of the cameras. He ran all the wires to my master closet and hooked up the system which I had provided. Everything worked on the first try! Despite the difficult job and working all day, he did not waiver from his original quote. He even came out a few days later to fix one wire that had started to hang down a little, with no questions asked at no additional cost. In total, he installed 5 cameras, ran several hundred feet of cable, and hooked up it all up while hiding the cabling. The system works great!

Harry is honest, hard working, and very professional. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Harry and Mauricio were top-notch. Prior and professional, they got the job done faster than I could have imagined. They installed an outdoor light, installed a new outlet in the garage, hung 3 ceiling fans, a chandelier, and 3 pendants lights in less than 4 hours. As always, I will only use them going forward. Just a note here. I had a VERY bad kitchen remodel done on my home by a different contractor and they had put my entire kitchen on one breaker. To say the least my house was having serious electrical problems. Harry came out and took a look and noticed right away the problem, and the seriousness of it. He was totally honest that he was booked for the week, but gave me tips how to stay in the house safely until he could come out and do the work. We really could not use much here. His pricing was more than fair for what needed to be done and I have waited a couple months to make sure it is all working right. It sure is and I give him a 5 star rating for total honesty all around. Great work! Thank you for making my family safe again in our home.

Harry and Mauricio installed 3 ceiling fans, master bedroom recessed led lighting, and a dining room chandelier. Everything works and looks great. They even left the place cleaner than they found it.
