I recently called Harry to repair some light switch issues. He should up as scheduled, was very friendly and professional. One of the sockets required no repair, because the issue was something else unrelated. Instead of charging me for a repair that was not necessary, he pointed out the problem didn't charge me for work that was not necessary. The other repairs were completed in a very professional and timely manner. I feel the charges were very fair and reasonably. I will definitely use American Electric again. Thank you Harry.

We called at 11:50pm because the AT&T guy left exposed wires out in our closet. We thought they may have an electrical charge and were very panicked about the situation. With no help from AT&T tonight, we were able to get a hold of Harry. He's absolutely amazing and we can't thank you enough for helping us. It's very scary when you don't understand the potential dangers and when someone is able to look at a photo and tell you that you are safe, that kind of help is priceless.

What a PROFESSIONAL Harry was/is!! First thing in the morning warm friendly smile, firm handshake, showed up on time (i knew this was going to go well). i show Harry where i need the EV charger installed, show him the breaker & he goes straight to WORK!! (boys & girls the mark of a TRUE PROFESSIONAL is what Harry showed me within seconds of showing him the job--he gave the job site a good once over, knew EXACTLY what was needed and went straight TO WORK!!) I just found the best Electrician in SANTA CLARITA!! Harry and his crew were here on time and did the best job. I needed the low voltage on my A/C unit rewired. Harry gave me an idea of what he could do but when he was working he figured a better way to run the wire so it was barely seen on the outside (prior wire was under the house). They did a great job and even patched the hole he had to make in my closet.

I will use American Electric Company for all electrical needs going forwards.

Anyone looking for a great Electrician, please call Harry you won't be sorry.

I hired American electric to install a 240V plug for our new hybrid car. When I threw the job out to electricians on Yelp, Harry was the first to respond and responded quickly to every follow up email I sent him. He offered a fair price, based solely on my description of the job. The day of the install he arrived promptly, was friendly and explained thoroughly what he was going to be doing. We discovered that the rapid charger that I ordered actually arrived with a 50amp capability and not the 30amp I had described to Harry. Harry slipped down to a electrical supply store for the larger fuse he needed and finished the install neatly and quickly. Can't say enough good things about this company. I'd give 'em 6 Stars if Yelp allowed it! As I told Harry, it's not to 'have a guy' for all the electrical work I may need in the future!

We needed a number of electrical things done in our home. We called American Electric and got an estimate within a day. They removed a ceiling fan and installed recessed lighting in the kitchen, installed two ceiling fans and a pendant fixture, replaced several outlets, installed an outlet outside and three porch light fixtures. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and completed the work in one day.
We definitely would recommend American Electric Co. for any electrical work and, should we need further electrical work done, we will know who to call.

I hired American Electric to install two exterior lantern style lights, and exterior outlet ( for Christmas lights) and a light sensor. They arrived promptly, the employees were all very courteous and professional. They installed everything and even cleaned up whatever mess they made and moved back all my junk in my garage that was in the way of the fuse box.

They were very flexible when I had some issues getting the lights from the retailer and showed up either a very short time frame of me finally getting the light from the retailer. The work they performed was too notch, I am completely satisfied with everything they did.

I would most definitely use them again, and will in the future! I would recommend them to anyone looking to get professional electrician work performed.

Had them install a 240V receptacle for a new EV. Contacted them via Yelp and was quick to respond and came out that same day for an estimate. I always get 3 quotes and Harry came in right at the same price but I had the ""warm and fuzzy"" with him. Researched EV chargers for almost 2 weeks; no pressure or unwanted calls from them. Decided to go with Harry, he sent out 2 of his guys and they were very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly and went over my expectations. Will definitely recommend and will for sure use them again.
