Alltech Solar is absolutely the finest Solar sales and installation in San Diego. Julian is a wonderful resource for the equipment, patiently explaining the benefits and differences of various panels and micro inverters. I changed my mind half way in to the contract and upgraded to the Panasonic IQ8 micro inverters and then was able to add on two batteries for complete autonomy should the need arise! Chase and Julian changed the plans without a hitch. System was quickly approved by the city and is up and running!

Ken Ehrle did a fantastic job explaining all elements of solar installation. Had couple back and forth on project scope. But the company did a seamless, job of applying permits to installation. Process was super smooth and well planned. Will recommend and use again.

I did all my research beforehand, and Alltech was the logical conclusion. I would recommend them to anyone considering going solar. Coordination between Alltech and the credit union was almost seamless. Cash or finance, total system price is the same. (So stay away from solar installers when you see that the total system price is higher on financing. It should be the same for cash or finance.)
The entire process was smooth from start to finish. My salesperson Julian kept me in the loop and set the proper expectations.

Julian (sales) was knowledgeable, transparent, patient, and gave me a great education on solar. Chase (owner & operations lead) is a stand-up guy, hard worker, and treats his employees with respect. We installed 26 panels with Enphase micro-inverters. The system was installed perfectly.

I found Julian while I was researching solar panels for my parent's home in Hawaii. His YouTube video showed the depth of his understanding in the intricacies in solar panels. Although I'm not in California I reached out to him and even in his busy schedule he took time to reply to me. He gave me a better idea of what values I should look for in a solar company. I had an excellent experience with Alltech Solar! If you are looking for a local, family-owned solar installer, I highly recommend this company. They install top-of-the-line solar panels, micro inverters, and offer a full turnkey installation.

Julian was a very knowledgeable, responsive, and low-pressure salesman. He was able to answer all of my technical and non-technical questions. Further, his answers lined up with my own research on solar panels, micro-inverters, and installation scenarios. It was refreshing working with a salesman that was extremely passionate about and had a detailed understanding of the products he was selling. It was clear that he stays on top of the latest solar regulations, market trends, and technology.

Chase is the business owner and lead installer. He was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. Chase himself took the final measurements of our roof for the panel layout. He also did the wiring for the solar system on the day of the install. Given he is actively involved with the installation of the systems, I found that his response times could be slightly delayed. However, given he is running a small business and is also out in the field, I thought it was all within reason. The installation itself went smoothly and the finished product looks and works great!
