I recently purchased solar panels for my home. I checked out several companies and Alltech Solar stood out for their expertise and competitive pricing. Ken and Chase shared their knowledge of the industry and helped fit my home with a system that would optimize performance. They even replaced one of my air vents to ensure the the best placement of the panels. They did everything they said they would do on a timeline that was spot on accurate. The system was up and running two days before Christmas. It's now been a little over a month and I am very happy with the system. Alltech Solar did a great job and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Make Alltech Solar your first choice. Alltech Solar provides unequalled customer service. The phrase customer service is bandied about quite liberally by some, but I don't offer this comment lightly. After one of the recent heavy rains, a minor leak appeared in our patio overhang. The solar panels are no where near, though the conduit carrying the power from the solar panels is in the proximity. Wondering if there was any relation with the conduit supports, I reached out to Alltech and as usual, received a prompt response leading to Chase coming to the house. After pointing out where the leak was evident, Chase explained the conduit supports are put down with adhesives (not nails or anything else penetrating the roof), so wouldn't be a possible source of the leak. Agreeing with and accepting the explanation, I thanked him with full expectation he would depart. To my very great and pleasant surprise he offered to go up on the roof and take a look. Shortly thereafter he came down and showed me a video of the likely cause (roofing nail appears to have popped up, creating a small bubble allowing rain to enter). In another great and pleasant surprise, he offered to go back up and patch the problem. He declined payment, even when couched as for taking his wife out to dinner. In review, we had a leak and wondered if the solar installation may be related; contacted Allltech and promptly Chase arranged to come to the house; after showing him the issue, Chase explained how it the supports were glued down and couldn't be a source of the leak, with which I agreed; rather than just departing, Chase offered to look at the roof, discovered the likely source and applied a patch; rejecting payment of any kind. Another heavy rain has since come through and no leak. This meets my definition of unequalled customer service. If you are considering rooftop solar power, I heartily recommend Alltech Solar and encourage you contact them at the soonest. With power prices climbing and new regulations soon, do not wait.

Ken, Chase and Pam and all of their personnel did an excellent job of educating me about solar, roof work, installation process and getting the project up and running. Working together, they made the process very easy on me and were very respectful of my property. I highly recommend this company and its employees. We had Panasonic solar panels installed a few months ago, and Alltech Solar was quick and efficient throughout the whole process. We were provided a quote quickly, and the price was very reasonable. We mostly communicated with Ken and he was knowledgeable and responsive. The permit process took awhile but everything besides that went smoothly, including the actual installation and passing the city inspection. The only thing is I sensed impatience sometimes from the team when we asked questions which made the experience a bit stressful. But overall we had a good experience with Alltech Solar.

Just wrapped up my whole process with Alltech, and compared to the many, MANY horror stories I was told from family and friends about their experience with other solar companies, Alltech's process has been a walk in the park. Start to finish, Alltech provided all of the best service, communications, timelining, transparency, and so much more. Ken was my sales person, and was one of the few I spoke with (I spoke with almost a dozen other companies) who was completely honest and transparent, whether I liked it or not. That goes a long way in my eyes, and I appreciated him the whole way through. Pam was great in getting everything coordinated and staying in constant communication even when we were getting impatient with how long of a process solar is (Start to finish from first talk to today, about a 6 month process). And finally, Chase was the most personable and professional contractor I have worked with in a long time! Did install and panel upgrade in one day, no issues at all and texted constantly to make sure we weren't without power for too long.

We purchased a new home in Carmel Valley in March of 2022 and knew we wanted solar panels installed. We ask friends and neighbors, and had seen several different vendor trucks in the neighborhood, but one recommendation stood out: Alltech Solar. We contacted them first and were very impressed with their demonstrated knowledge of the industry, the products, the implications of net metering and the various manufacturers and design / solution options. Their first proposal, informed by our (maximalist) needs, was spot on and we moved forward, getting in a 7 ti 9 week queue. Their design, permitting, county / city approvals, inspections and installation processes were flawless, transparent and highly professional. It was a joy to watch their crew work -- these folks have clearly done this hundreds of times before, and were only getting better.

We were up and running, with permission to operate by SDGE right on schedule with a hookup for a new electric car and ""free"" electricity for life.

The family business is well run, has great, skilled and dedicated employees, and charges a fair price. A major manufacturer tried to temp us with a lower price and faster availability, but the lower price was really for a less robust design, and i was the fact that neighbors had been happy with Alltech from start to finish on their projects meant we were never tempted.

I have them my highest possible recommendation -- peace of mind, top of the line products, full warrantees and (most importantly) people who really know their business. Why do it any other way?
