We ensure our technicians are well-trained and engage in continuous education to keep their industry knowledge and skills sharp, backed by years of hands-on experience. Melvin and Melissa Music, both veterans, run the business, and our technicians are subject to yearly background checks, maintaining a Certified Drug-Free environment. Our dedication to outstanding customer service is unwavering, and we strive for your complete satisfaction. If you are not entirely satisfied, please inform us, and we will rectify the situation!
After serving as a US Marine, Melvin pursued plumbing and HVAC training at a technical school in Arizona. After finishing school, Melvin gained experience at a top plumbing firm in the Phoenix region. Upon moving to Georgia and working with various plumbing companies, he discovered that none operated as efficiently as the one in Arizona.
In 2003, Melvin and his wife Melissa, both veterans, launched Allgood Plumbing, inspired by the philosophy of treating others as they would want to be treated, a value that still drives Allgood today.
In 2013, we broadened our services to include electrical work and technicians, becoming Allgood Plumbing and Electric. The business has expanded further, introducing HVAC services in January 2016 based on requests from our valued customers.
Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling now boasts a team of over 50 licensed and skilled professionals who embody our company values.

I updated the air conditional of my rental house the year before last year. The company charged more than 8,000 dollars for installing a new AC. Last year, when the weather got hot, my tenant couldn't start the AC. We had the tech came over and blamed us for this and that. This year, the AC was not on by itself again. The company charges us for tech visits. I never had an AC with SO MANY problems. We change filter every two and half months. What else should we do? We are not professionals. The AC should work automatically like all other ACs in the world. This company is not professional.

Read the recent reviews...don't be fooled by their overall rating.
Horrible first experience with this company. I had an appointment today for them to come out and install a smart thermostat and also a video/floodlight. Technician showed up, wasn't remotely friendly/nice and proceeded to tell me he could only install the floodlight and that a separate technician would have to come out and install the thermostat. I said fine, let's just go ahead and install the flood light and he then told me he couldn't do it today, that it would have to be some time next week and that today he could only provide a quote. I asked him how much and he told me $700!!!! First of all that's a ridiculous amount of money to install a floodlight. Second of all, why couldn't you just give me that quote on the phone? The quote was clearly prepared before he even walked in my front door. Why did I have to get home from work early to get an in person quote that was already pre-prepared? Such a joke. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I never write reviews, even when I have bad experiences but this was so egregious it made me furious enough to write a review.
Use this company if you want a terrible customer service experience, like wasting your own time and enjoy paying for dramatically over priced services.
Sincerely,
Jake Senkbeil

I talked to Tameshia on the phone and she was so nice and helpful. She went above and beyond to answer my questions and double check that her information was correct. I don't need plumbing services at the moment, but in the future when I do I will be calling this company because of my positive experience today on the phone with her.

The only reason I went with them for a couple of things is because they do respond very quickly. The techs that come out are their only saving grace. They know what they're doing and are decent people. However, the pricing is so completely blown out of proportion. Can not get through a call without dropping at least $500 for something that takes probably no more than 30 minutes to complete. Ended up getting a couple of quotes for a water heater replacement and for the same job and same equipment, Allgood quoted $2000 over the other guys!!!!!!!! Not a couple of hundred, $2000!!!! Even after speaking with the manager and he ""worked"" with me, they were still crazy expensive. So, there are plenty of other companies out there that can do a decent job and not leave you bankrupt.

This company didn't show up yesterday when I had an appointment. When I called they scheduled me for the following day. When I confirmed I was heading over to the house to meet a technician arriving in 40 minutes they told me the technician wouldn't come without a credit card on file. I said I was meeting the technician and will be there in 40 minutes. I was told if I met the technician I wouldn't need a card on file. They refused to dispatch without a card on file. This business is a scam. Go to another plumber. The receptionist on the phone tried to intimidate me.

I would not recommend Allgood to anyone. I evaluate companies across three criteria: quality of work, communication, and reliability. Allgood failed across all three measures.
Background: they quoted repairing a shower faucet. They ended up ripping through the tile and drywall. The scope of work said ""repair shower faucet"". They denied it all and it took over 15 calls to actually get someone on the phone to try to get to the bottom of it. They never acknowledged they were in the wrong.
Quality of work: I'll give them credit--they installed the hot water heater just fine. The other 3 things they worked on were not finished or did not work. Every time they came out, they left tools and had to come back or they forget parts and had to leave the house and go buy them (or borrow them from me).
Communication: They took 3-4 days to call me back. The shower they left me with was not operable. They use their receptionist to try to intimidate you / talk you down. After 4 weeks they sent someone out to ""fix"" their work's mistakes, but they did not communicate that they were coming out and I was not home, so they said I didn't accept the work. Communication was not allgood
Reliability: Every time estimate they quoted me (e.g. 2 hours to fix) was off by 3-6 hours, which ended up taking up entireties of my day. The other work they enstalled did not work and we had to repair/replace it. The shower they installed did not have all of the requisite pieces and they refused to acknowledge that the pieces were missing. The allgood promise was not all good.

Buyers beware of Allgood Plumbing! Allgood Plumbing changed a bad sump pump in September 2018 for $1,000.00. Gave me a year warranty. I had them check the pump early September 2019 before warranty ran. Told it's running fine. Sump pump malfunctioned last week. Today I was told by the technician he can check on whether he can get it to work for $650.00. If can't get it to work $1000.00.

Called them a week ago for a simple service check we only use our heating for a few short months the gas is turned on and functional just wanted a tech to check the two units. Appointment is made and then the tech is a no show they call and reschedule then the next appointment they call and say they are too busy to keep the appointment. Time to find a company that wants some easy work.

Artificially inflated price. Took advantage of a disabled Veteran with severe breathing problems. 100% disabled and 100% service connected. On Oxygen.
AllGood used a form of the bait and switch routine. Try to sell a ridiculously high priced unnecessary procedure ($2800): So the customer will be relieved to pay the smaller amount, even though it was double the expected price ($760). My roommate had set this up with AllGood, but he was out of town on business and could not be reached.
Josh, from AllGood, did a simple repair on the shut off valve and short pipe (less than 2 feet) located just on my side of the front yard water meter. We had already diagnosed it long before his arrival. We were expecting between a $300 to $400 bill. Josh worked about 2 hours and used about $150 to $175 in parts. Josh (from AllGood) arrived and tried to sell me an un-necessary replacement of the line going from the water meter to my house (He wanted $2800). I was outside severely short of breath (COPD). I could barely stand up. He had me sign a paper for $760. No listing of labor cost. No listing of parts cost. In addition, He left leaving the yard torn up and created pot holes in the lawn that the lawn mower will fall into. Permanently damaging the mower. I wish there was a law: Stopping people from taking advantage of a disability.
Strongly recommend that no-one ever use AlllGood services.

Similar to what others experienced, my AC unit was not working and I was told by Allgood that the unit had to be replaced at a cost of $6,000 and that they could have a sales rep contact me the next day to arrange purchasing the new unit. Also they came much later than the appointment time. Contacted another company and they came out the very next morning, identified the problem and fixed it for $350. The unit has been working well ever since. Allgood charged $100 to come out only to try to sell a new unit I did not need. Will leave judgement to others as to whether this was a scam. I do not appreciate paying $100 for something that was not true. Will not do any business with this company in the future.
