Following his service in the US Marine Corps, Melvin attended technical school in Arizona to study plumbing and HVAC. After finishing school, Melvin gained experience at a top plumbing firm in Phoenix. After moving to Georgia and gaining experience with different plumbing businesses, he recognized that none matched the operational standards of his previous employer.
In 2003, Melvin and his wife Melissa, also a veteran, established Allgood Plumbing, guided by the principle of treating others as they wish to be treated. This philosophy remains at the core of Allgood's mission.
In 2013, we broadened our offerings to include electrical services, transforming into Allgood Plumbing and Electric. In January 2016, we introduced HVAC services, expanding our offerings based on customer demand.

Recommended Customer Reviews

You can't get better service than what Allgood Plumbing provides. From first contact, to repair or install they're the best. Allgood responds quickly and communicates with their customers throughout. John was extremely nice & courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He installed our new water heater quickly and efficiently. We're very pleased with Allgood and would refer them to anyone needing the services they provide.

I have a bad experience with AllGood installing NEMA 14-50 outlet for my Tesla model 3. AllGood incorrectly oriented the ground pin on the bottom (there is also good safety reason why it is recommended that ground pin should position on top, see homedepot/lowes/google for how NEMA 14-50 outlet should normally be oriented), which make the model 3 plug be in an awkward position when plug in and potentially harm the plug. When I inform AllGood of the problem, they did not stand behind their work and make it right, but charge me for coming out to turn the outlet 180 degrees. I trusted AllGood to know how most EV plug should be oriented or inform me of the common problem so I can contact the manufacture for info if needed. I am disappointed and will not be using their services anymore.

Horrible service please avoid at all cost. Plumber came out to inspect leaking hot water heater and said i needed a new pressure valve. Once installed ($268 bucks later) the unit still leaked and was told i needed a new hot water heater and will cost $1800. I asked for a break down and was advised they do not give break downs. After researching the first fix was only a $15 part so $253 labor cost to change a valve??? Then I found Home Depot and total cost for new hot water heater and install was $1000. Total ripoff!

The original post that I created was with a pure heart.
We had been without a decent heating and air conditioning for years, and the brothers did a great job.
However, thinking that we could continue to trust this company was a mistake.
We had a pipe issue, and called ""Allgood"".
We were told that the pipes had to be replaced to the mainline to the street.
Pipes were replaced, and we were ensured that the foundation of the home and where the plumbers dug up, was secure.
It gave me pause, because there was still a low dip from where the pipe was replaced in our driveway, and from our home to the driveway-there was a clearly visible gap that wasn't sealed.
After we have had multiple floods in our crawl space basement, from the pipeline that was dug out from ""Allgood"", and the opening from the driveway that was left from the house to the driveway, we were then told, that we have a foundation problem.
We had to have an inspection, after the many long rains of late, that almost completely damaged our water heater and brand new HVAC system for thousands of dollars-the HVAC inspector took the time before ringing the door bell, to inspect the tarp that we had placed over the ""Allgood"" hole, to keep rain from entering what is now being called a sinkhole from the driveway, underneath our home.
The HVAC inspector kept insinuating that it was a ""foundation problem"", to which I informed him that we NEVER had a ""foundation problem"" or flooding before the ""Allgood"" pipe installation that dug up our basement and driveway.
The plumber, Terry, came back and insisted that it was a problem that ""Allgood"" could not be responsible for, or do anything about.
We also found out from another contractor that they performed all of this work without a permit from the city of Atlanta, which they charged us for and most likely pocketed-continued without the legal permit from the city.
Now, ""Allgood"" is telling us that we signed off on them doing the work, which was never even finished correctly in the first place.
BUYER BEWARE.
""Allgood"" took the LAST of our savings, and we cannot do anything more at this point but continue to pump the rain water out of our basement, at our own expense.
No, thank you ""Allgood"".

On January 8, I completed a service request with the online system. I received an automated reply indicating they would call me to confirm the appointment day and time. It is now January 14 @ 10:40 PM and all I have heard from ALLGOOD are crickets even though they advertise they are available 24/7. I think not!

Absolutely horrible service. When the service operator got to my house, he waited in his truck. He never bothered to knock on my door. When I called to ask what happened, I was given ""the rules"" about how the company operated. Then was told that I was incorrect in what I claimed happened, and that they had a tape recording of what I said.
My family, school, and neighbors will all know not to use this company. What a disappointment.

I paid monthly fees for several years to be a preferred customer and receive priority service calls for hvac, electrical, and plumbing. Every single appointment I have ever had, they have given me a 4 hr window time period and never once made it on time. Most times they never even show. When they do, they try to sell ridiculous unnecessary big ticket projects like redoing the whole house electrical or getting new hvac units. This is the WORST company ever. I feel like a moron for ever signing up with these guys. The better business bureau should shut these guys down.

Trust me I call the office and the personnel their are trained to lie big.
The person that was assigned didn't know basis plumbing. I
Realized after he gave a incorrect diagnosis and a sky quote that I need to get this bootleg scammer out of my house. He then wanted to charge me a fee for service that he didnt perform. Ended up paying for service o didn't received. I will never but recommend them to nobody if o still want that person to continue to be that person friend, I will continue to tell everybody I met what a RIP off company they are. Highway robbery is what they are quilty of. Pls read the reviews before
You make a decision about choosing ALLBAD!! I will read any company reviews before hiring anyone!!! Now the review is forcing me to give them a an a rating by not letting me choose the star I chose what a trick. This is not the rating I want to post.

Scheduled this company to come out multiple different times over the course of a year and a half for various reasons like servicing AC and replacing water heater...because I like to give companies the benefit of doubt when it comes to one time bad service --
Each time I requested to be first appointment of the day, flexible to be any day as long as I could be the first appointment time. I would be assured I'd be the first to be seen at 8am.
I would call first thing at 8am to confirm someone was on their way. ""Atlanta traffic"".
Call at 10, ""oh there was a morning staffing meeting / they had to stop at the warehouse, now they are on the way"".
Had to wait all morning most times till late in the day 3pm+ the worst was ""oh that's weird I'm seeing they already made a stop at your house"" ...to find I'm auto rescheduled to another day because it's too late in day to make it out to my place. (I live in Buckhead.)
This has happened to me at least three different times. I was dumb and thought this is normal business habits, but it's not. Note I have never actually received real service from this company because I canceled the servicing appointments after waiting a day or two. I ended up waiting way too long on Allgood to replace my water heater while showering with cold water. Called another company and they showed up 8am on the dot the next morning.

This company is a rip off
I payed almost $3,000 last year for a pipe that broke in my yard ...
My child passed and I just wanted it fixed I was stressed
I thought I got a deal .... I prob got taken
I went to Lowe's today a hot water heater with instillation $700
These folks had no pricing and the lady jennifer said she would call the manager
He came up with a $1300 quote
Do not go there !!!!
Sad it's the holidays and folks don't care about each other doggy dog world !!!
