In 1932, Clyde Allbritten established Allbritten in Fresno. I cannot say enough about Allbritten. Their customer service and response time is amazing. We have used them to service our old AC over the past few years and always have had excellent service. We just had to purchase a new unit. John came out and helped us decide which unit we needed, and he worked with the finance company to get us a better package. All of the technicians are always on time, very pleasant, respectful and clean in their work. In all of the calls I've made over the last several weeks, I'm always met with a friendly and helpful person. I even called on a Sunday ""just to see"" if I could get a technician out to check something. I received a call back same-day. I called early morning another time, and was able to talk to a friendly, helpful person. An AC is a huge investment. I highly recommend Allbritten.
This is the best business I've ever worked with; customer service, sales, and of course, the knowledgeable service technicians.
I've been doing business with AllbrittoBC Cooling since 2002. They are reliable, courteous, kind, good humored and professional. Recently my AC unit was breaking down part by part and they came out with one phone call request which also included after hours and took care of the problem.
The office staff is amazing! Top notch humans who are efficient, kind, and great communicators which I believe is the most important aspect of any type of relationship.

Desiree I.Had an emergency Friday night and I contacted Allbritten after searching for a company that could come out on the weekend. They scheduled me an appointment same day, came out and assessed the situation with my ac which now turned into a plumbing issue, thankfully they were able to have a plumber come out Sunday afternoon to inspect and fix the problem. I was so pleased with everyone from the first person I spoke to from the office named Rosetta, then Pool Yang was the HVAC tech, and Nick Kalina who was our plumber, all very professional. Very pleased with this company.
After hearing the adds and looking at the good reviews I decided to get ahead of any problems and get my air conditioner serviced. The unit was working fine but I thought I was being smart and getting it serviced would keep me from having problems. Great customer service and they came out and I paid the $180+. They found a couple issues with it and we paid $500+ to get it fixed. Three weeks later the unit stopped producing cold air and we had them out a third time. They found a leak in our hose and the Freon was gone which cost me another $178+ for the nitrogen test to find the leak. They gave me an estimate of $1200+ to fix the line or $12500 to replace the unit. Now all of this might be legit and I might have bad karma but I did switch to another company and I am saving quite a bit of money.
Jeremy S.At the beginning of the summer hot season, I experienced an A/C break down. Unfortunately, after doing some checking on my unit I found that the compressor for it had failed and no longer worked. So I decided to reach out to Allbritten to check my unit and verify what I was finding and provide with me with a quote for the cost of repairing the unit and maybe options for replacing the whole unit altogether.
After checking out my situation I was forced to go with the option of replacement of the compressor. But thanks to the timely manner at which the technician and the people in the office they were able to get me back up and cooling off in about a weeks time.
The service was timely and professional. I will continue to do business with Allbritten in the future.
Chelsea H.I needed a quote for a new AC unit since mine only has about a year left (if I'm lucky). Scheduling an appointment was easy and I was able to get one that worked with my schedule. Matt, the technician, was on time and very friendly. He really took his time explaining things to me and asked me a lot of questions so he could make recommendations for a new unit based on my needs. He broke everything down for me and gave me three quotes- one for each of the options we had discussed. He was thorough and polite and left me with information that I could use to help make my decision.
Cindy Y.The person who came to service, Phillip D., had the worst attitude the entire time, he did not want to be at work and it showed in his service. He attempted to tel us all the things wrong with our air conditioning system, from leaks to replacing everything (the fan blade, because it may not be spinning fast enough). At the end, when we suggested getting a second opinion, he then stated he didn't do any of the assessments he stated earlier. Therefore, all those talks of ""leaks and parts to replace"" were all off of his assumption. Even stating, ""it's all a bandaids to your problems."" WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
Jami W.For the past week. I had a leak running under my washer and dryer(it wasn't a huge leak at first) and also this running water noise too. I thought it was my machines. So I called LG to have someone look at them. They sent a guy from sears. Who was the nice guy as well. Very patient with me. Especially when I was stressing out. He told me it was my pipes that were leaking. When we got our baseboard on , when we were redoing our floors. A nail went through a pipe over time it caused that running water noise and the water leak. The sears guy turned our water off and said to call a Plummer ASAP. I was so stressed out. I didn't know who to call or what to do. He recommend Allbritten. So Yesterday on 6/17/2019. I called Allbritten to send a Plummer before our house flooded out. Within 30 mins they sent JUAN C. Juan C was the nicest, and most professional guy I have ever met. He also put covers over his shoes each time he walked into my house. Little things like that. I appreciate. So he quickly diagnosed everything and gave me a final price. He also made sure he didn't cut a big hole in my wall. He cut a really small neat square. He fixed my pipe and turned my water on with 30 minutes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLBRITTEN. Ask for Juan C. He is seriously the best! If I need any Plummer service. I will definitely be calling Allbritten again. Thank you Juan C for everything.
Matthew S.We have a leak from our upstairs master bathroom. Allbritten gave a us a quote to repair all the plumbing. I went with Allbritten because they are reputable company and appear to focus on service.
They told us the job would require 2 plumbers and 2 hours to complete. They only sent one plumber. During the course of the repair he damaged an expensive faucet causing a more intense leak. He spent 6 hours looking for parts to do the repair but could not find them. My wife and kids were stranded without access to water in our home for 8 hours while I was at work.
The next day, Allbritten called to tell my wife that she needed to find a replacement faucet or parts and then to reconnect with Allbritten so they could give us a bid on the repair that would be needed. I had to call and speak to the service manager to get Allbritten to acknowledge that they damaged the faucet and needed to find the parts, repair the damage they caused, and finish the job we had already paid for.
It was 2 weeks before Allbritten was able to come up with a solution. When they left the house our faucet was left leaning up against the tub unsecured and our hot and cold water lines were crossed. When my wife contacted the service manager he tried to tell her that the reason the faucet was not secured was because of wear and tear. Fortunately, my wife had taken photos so she was able to demonstrate that Allbritten had larger holes into our sub-floor that did not allow them to re-secure the faucet properly.
After several more weeks and several 'cheap' fixes, we have an even bigger leak. Now they are trying to tell me that it is a leak that is coming from somewhere else and that it is 'out of their hands.'
The ceiling in our kitchen has been cut open for over 2 months. My wife and kids have spent countless days babysitting Allbritten plumbers so they can finish the 2 hour job they started over 2 months ago.
We are now left with few other options other than having to contact another company to start over from the beginning.
Matt H.Quick response time. the Plumber James was prompt with his arrival and helped me diagnose the problem. He provided a fair price quote and returned the next day to do the work. There was a clog in the main drain pipe that would require a snake. James provided great service and I would not hesitate to call Allbritten again if I encounter any future plumbing needs.
