In 1980, Alison Service Company was launched as a specialist in electrical contracting specializing in the wiring of retail spaces and residential properties. In 1991, we were contacted by a nationwide retail maintenance firm to provide electrical services for businesses across Southern California.

As time passed, we began offering other repair and maintenance services alongside our electrical contracting services. While gaining experience, and getting to know our clients, we diversified our offerings. The demand for more services led us to obtain both general contracting and plumbing licenses as well as our electrical contracting license.

Before I was born, my dad opened his electrical contracting company in Covina. As soon as we could swing a hammer, he took me, my older sister, and younger brother to the jobs he was working on. I have fond memories of finding scraps of wiring and conduit and creating ""art"" with my siblings to stay occupied while our dad worked.

We experienced him leaving family events to handle urgent matters, endless phone calls and appointments, and, naturally, late nights working. Even though he was always busy, he remained deeply engaged in our lives, leading our sports teams, attending every game and supporting us when we needed him.

After finishing high school, my father was serving residents and commercial locations throughout San Diego. I made my way to San Diego and began working for my father as his assistant. I would assemble ceiling fans, install outlets, connect recessed lighting, do all of his scheduling and invoicing. Today, my siblings and I are at the helm and couldn't be happier.
