Established in 1980, Alison Service Company was launched as a specialist in electrical contracting dedicated to wiring retail stores and homes. In 1991, ASC was approached by a nationwide retail maintenance firm to deliver electrical services to retailers across Southern California.

As time passed, we began offering additional maintenance and repair services in addition to electrical contracting. Through our experience, and understanding our clients' needs, we diversified our offerings. The demand for more services encouraged us to secure both general contracting and plumbing licenses in addition to our electrical contracting license.

Prior to my birth, my father launched his own electrical contracting business in the Covina area. Once we were able to use a hammer, he would take me, my older sister, and younger brother to his work sites. I have fond memories of collecting leftover wiring and conduit and crafting ""art"" alongside my siblings to keep busy while our father worked.

We were raised with him stepping away from family gatherings to tend to emergencies, frequent phone calls and meetings, and of course late work nights. Even though he was always busy, he was heavily involved in our lives, coaching our sports teams, making every play and showing up when we needed him.

After finishing high school, my father was providing services to residents and businesses in San Diego. I relocated to San Diego and took on the role of my father's assistant. I helped install ceiling fans, set up outlets, wire recessed lighting, do all of his scheduling and invoicing. Today, my siblings and I are at the helm and we are thrilled.
