Founded in 1980, Alison Service Company began as a provider of electrical services dedicated to the electrical needs of retail and residential locations. In 1991, we were contacted from a major retail maintenance organization to deliver electrical services for businesses across Southern California.

As time passed, we started providing other repair and maintenance services in addition to electrical contracting. Through our experience, and building relationships with our clients, our list of trades expanded. The need for expanded services encouraged us to secure licenses for general contracting and plumbing as well as our electrical contracting license.

Prior to my birth, my father launched his own electrical contracting business in Covina. As soon as we could swing a hammer, he took me, my older sister, and younger brother to the jobs he was working on. I have fond memories of collecting leftover wiring and conduit and making ""art"" with my siblings to stay occupied while our dad worked.

We experienced him leaving family events to address emergencies, endless phone calls and appointments, and many late nights at work. Even though he was always busy, he was very present in our lives, coaching our sports teams, making every play and being there when we needed him most.

When I graduated high school, my father was providing services to residents and businesses throughout San Diego. I made my way to San Diego and started assisting my father. I would assemble ceiling fans, put in outlets, connect recessed lighting, manage his scheduling and invoicing. Currently, my siblings and I run the business and we couldn't be more satisfied.
