In 1980, Alison Service Company started as a specialist in electrical contracting specializing in the wiring of retail spaces and residential properties. In 1991, we received an inquiry by a nationwide retail maintenance firm to provide electrical services to retailers across Southern California.

As we progressed, we started providing a wider range of maintenance and repair solutions beyond electrical contracting. Through our experience, and getting to know our clients, we diversified our offerings. The need for expanded services encouraged us to secure both general contracting and plumbing licenses alongside our electrical contracting license.

Before I was born, my father launched his own electrical contracting business in the Covina area. As soon as we could swing a hammer, he would take me, my older sister, and younger brother to the jobs he was working on. I cherish the memories of discovering bits of wiring and conduit and making ""art"" with my siblings to stay occupied while our dad worked.

We experienced him leaving family events to address emergencies, constant phone calls and meetings, and, naturally, late nights working. Even though he was always busy, he was heavily involved in our lives, leading our sports teams, attending every game and showing up when we needed him.

When I graduated high school, my father was serving residents and commercial locations throughout San Diego. I made my way to San Diego and started assisting my father. I helped install ceiling fans, put in outlets, install recessed lighting, manage his scheduling and invoicing. Now, my siblings and I lead the company and couldn't be happier.
