In 1980, Alison Service Company began as a specialist in electrical contracting specializing in the electrical needs of retail and residential locations. In 1991, ASC was approached by a national retail maintenance company to deliver electrical services to retailers across Southern California.

Over the years, we started providing additional maintenance and repair services alongside our electrical contracting services. Through our experience, and getting to know our clients, we diversified our offerings. The need for expanded services prompted us to acquire licenses for general contracting and plumbing alongside our electrical contracting license.

Long before my arrival, my father launched his own electrical contracting business in Covina. Once we were able to use a hammer, he would take me, my older sister, and younger brother to the jobs he was working on. I cherish the memories of collecting leftover wiring and conduit and making ""art"" with my siblings to entertain ourselves while our father was busy.

We were raised with him stepping away from family gatherings to tend to emergencies, endless phone calls and appointments, and of course late work nights. Even though he was always busy, he remained deeply engaged in our lives, mentoring our sports teams, making every play and supporting us when we needed him.

After finishing high school, my father was serving residents and commercial locations in the San Diego area. I made my way to San Diego and started assisting my father. I was responsible for assembling ceiling fans, install outlets, install recessed lighting, manage his scheduling and invoicing. Currently, my siblings and I run the business and we couldn't be more satisfied.
