Our home warranty company sent Alejo electric out to fix a doorbell after we waited all day for another company they contracted, who was a no-show/no call. What a huge difference! From the woman who called to set up the appointment, to Ryan the electrician who came out, our experience could not have been any better.

Alejo had an appointment much sooner than I anticipated and Ryan showed up on time. He even called prior to his arrival to let us know how far away he was. He was very knowledgeable, very funny and he actually seemed to enjoy his job. He knew exactly what the problem was and he fixed it in a timely manner. He was also patient and accommodating with three dogs who kept trying to force pets as he worked. Home warranty company or not, I would definitely call Alejo Electric again.

Update: The owner personally reached out and scheduled the work with his lead tech. Same person that came out originally. Nice and knowledgeable and he did a good job of completing what I asked. The warrant company had told me I would need to pay a set price to get the issue fixed however when I spoke to John he said that he only gave that price to the company as an arbitrary number not the actual cost. Warranty company did not relay that information to me as they were under the impression that is the final cost. John honored that and fixed it for it. It wasn't a lot of work but still a couple of hours worth, either way, no issues with their work. I still think the contact hours of 10-4 don't allow customers the flexibility (we work during the day too and it's not always easy to call only between those hours) but understand everyone has their own challenges. And John did reach out after hours.

It's not easy to get in contact with this company. Who has working hours of 10-4 on businesses days?! Unfortunately this is the company we have to use through our warranty company so I have no choice and I can't actually review their work because I would first have to be able get them on the phone to schedule the work. According to warranty company they should've reached out to schedule and proceed but have not done so. The technician that came out for the troubleshooting seemed knowledgeable and nice.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ....!!! I was referred by American Home Shield for an electrical problem in our kitchen and the woman that called to confirm the visit was very rude. I would not want any of their technicians in my home!

I submitted through our home warranty company, and Jessica called to respond. Unfortunately the lead time was too long, so I went back to the warranty company. Jessica then called back to let me know of a cancellation, and that she was able to work us in to the schedule. I am very grateful for her follow-through and commitment. This is how you do business!

Ali was our electrician, and I swear I somehow missed his Superman cape. Wonderfully nice fellow, great communicator, and a marvelous craftsman. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and checked our breaker box for any other issues....all in less than 15-minutes. He explained everything he did so even a knucklehead like me could understand. This is how you do business!

My kudos to Alejo Electric, and I recommend them without hesitation.

Our Home warranty company contracts with them. The service tech was on time, he called to verify address and how far out he was. We had several small issues that needed to be addressed, he was on it!!! Very knowledgeable, he was done in about 40 minutes. Would definitely use them, home warranty or not.

We had an unfortunate event a few months ago where PG&E had blown our breaker box while they were replacing a transformer on our street. This caused our electricity to go out in our whole house. Prior to PG&E taking fault and fixing the issue, we were unsure what to do, so we called our Home Warranty who then assigned Alejo Electric to our case.

Ryan came to our house and assessed the damages. He was extremely knowledgeable and it seemed promising that they could help get our house back in working order. We explained the issue with PG&E and I explained to them that even if our Home Warranty would not cover it, we would still like to move forward with fixing the damages and paying out of pocket so that we can move back into our house ASAP. Ryan assured me that they would help us as fast as they can. He just needed to call John, the owner, to talk about what needed to be done.

After he left, I was expecting a call back from John by the next day at the very latest, if not by the end of that day. I never heard from him for 3 days. I left multiple messages for Ryan each day, as well as called the front office to leave additional messages EVERY DAY for John. The women at the front desk were very nice, but I still never received a call back. This was EXTREMELY frustrating as I have 3 kids, one being a 7 month old baby. Our food went bad and we were not able to live in the house.

I felt that because our home warranty would not cover the damages, they no longer wanted to work with me. This was fine, however why not tell me that? Why would you leave me hanging and not return my calls when the last conversation I had with Ryan was that you guys would still be able to help me if I paid out of pocket? This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would have appreciated a call back letting me know that you could not help me so that I could find another electrician ASAP.

After 3 days of waiting for their call, I was able to find another electrician who got the job done right away - no thanks to Alejo Electric.

I am giving this business 1 star since the women at the front desk were very nice. When Ryan came to our house, he was very nice and knowledgeable also - however NOTHING WAS DONE. To the business: please remember that actions speak louder than words.

Great Service! I had an issue with my electrical socket and they came out to fix with within a few days. My son unfortunately did not tell the repair man the correct outlet and only half the job was done, I called and they came back out although they did not have to because it was our fault. Would definitely use them again. great service

Get a quote from these guys before you use anyone else. John is terrific, knowledgeable and helpful. Will get the job done fast and reliably.
