We received excellent service from AirCo! Lora in their office went above and beyond other companies in the area helping us find the right filters for our air conditioning units. Other companies told us they would have to charge us for two visits to determine what filters we needed. She talked us through finding the model numbers and let us know what to order. Just really wonderful customer service and we couldn't be happier. We received prompt, friendly service and their prices are very competitive.

I had to take bids to replace our hvac through the Austin Energy Program. Of the many (and I do mean many) service reps that visited our house, Mike from Airco was one of only two that I felt was straightforward and reasonable about options and prices. He was frank, quick to respond and took care of all our issues. Airco itself was also good at communicating and quick to visit when we had issues. There was one difficult area near our back bedroom that came up during the install, but true to their word they were able to find a way to accommodate at the original agreed upon contract price.

There were a few issues I can not in good conscience skip bringing up. There were some pretty bad errors in the install, some I caught some I did not. Had I not had already known a thing or two about HVAC, I wouldn't have even known any better. The furnace fan was set to a much too high blower, so obviously so. The installers didn't understand how to adjust the flow and just kept telling me it was the ""factory settings"" (much to my annoyance). This is one area where a simple ""I do not know how to adjust that, but we will send someone that can"" would have went a long way. I know that it was the ""factory settings"", they factory setting were wrong, duh. The TXV valve was also missing. I had to call again and insist that they send a seasoned technician to correct things, which they did and the issues were all corrected. The problem seems to be that there is poor training for the lennox systems for which they are a dealer. Anyway, a good company but I have to knock off a star due to the fact I should not have to be a contractor / inspector. This issue could also have been easily avoided by sending the seasoned technician at the end of the day or the very next for quality control without me pleading with them to do so.

All in all it appears that airco was/is a wise choice.

I have to say that we have been using Airco for some time. Many years.
They are always professional and thorough. We just hired Airco to replace our AC/Furnace and the work is so professional and instructions with the new equipment so great, the workers wore shoe covers, professional attire, and the foreman came out prior to the job to make sure everything was informative for his workers. I can honestly say we would hire and recommend them in one minute. You have to be very careful with chain A.C. dealers. We had Costco come out to bid and didn't go with them. We are big Costco users. I think that says alot. Really recommend Airco

I was going to fire Airco because we had a lot of issues with an air purification system they installed along with a few other issues. Now, finding a good HVAC company is difficult. You are only as good as the people you have working for you. After multiple visits, they finally sent Billie. Words cannot do him justice. Wow comes to mind. Very professional and knows his industry big time. Not only will I be re-signing a service plan with Airco, I will be requesting Billie going forward. He fixed our problems and even identified other things. He also took the time to show me how it all works. Billie saved Airco in my mind and as long as Billie is at Airco, I'm an Airco customer.

Very happy with service from Robert, who came out to work on our Carrier AC, which is only three years old but has endless issues (thanks David Weekley! Ugh.). Anyway, he tried everything to get the AC back running on a Sunday night, staying very late, but unfortunately had to replace a motor (in a three-year old AC!!!). He got it going quickly and was very professional. If only the ACs themselves were as hard-working and reliable.

I am editing my original review for AirCo. Upon my first encounter the mechanic was great. Very thorough, honest, and told me what we needed. However, when it came down to buy the unit the consultant/sales side did lack communication and professionalism.

I do have to say, AirCo (Wes) was swift to respond to my issue and I am thankful for that. Shows that they do care about their company and reputation. So for that I am changing my review from 1 star to 3.

Thank you so much to Billie for his expertise and perseverance in solving our recent intermittent issues with our system. He installed new blower and computer board and no more error codes. Thank you too to Wes for his responsiveness to inquiries. In five years of regular semi-annual inspections of our unit by Airco, our first experience with any type of repair related issue.

I called Airco Mechanical Thursday afternoon as a friend recommending them to come out to check our 19 year old air conditioner unit. I told them, the a/c was running constantly & the house was cool, so a Friday service would be great. Rudy was here first thing in the morning, spent 3 hours doing a thorough check of the unit. He was very knowledgeable , polite & efficient. Of course, the unit had rust, a short, but no leaking Freon. We knew it was time to buy a new unit. He didn't try to upsell, showed us pictures he took of the different problems, and the price difference in a Band-Aid fix or an actual new unit. The new unit was installed Sunday morning by Frank & Ethan. They promptly replaced the unit in 3 hours, before the house even got warm. Cleaned up all the debris, boxes and explained the new system.
We are very happy with the service of Rudy, Frank and Ethan. Thank you.

One more update for Airco. I've had four incidents with my Lennox AC this year from April to now in July. The final one was the last straw. Somehow there was a hole in a copper tube that was leaking refrigerant. I'll skip the boring details and cut straight to Wes Stearns (service manager) being on point with his customer service. Wes recognized we had a serious issue on our hands, frequently communicated with me, and in the end we had to replace the outside condenser which managed to be covered by the Lennox warranty. The two man crew came yesterday to do the switch out. They were both pleasant to deal with, clear about what they were doing, and gave some good advice and pointers about how the system was being updated with the new condenser.
While this situation has been a great source of stress on top of other things going on in my life, Wes and his guys didn't add to it. He was practical and prompt, acknowledging my issue and coming up with a solution that was executed faster than I've seen nearly any service company pull off. Might have helped there was a cancelled install yesterday. While I might not recommend a Lennox to anyone (we'll see how this new outdoor unit works), I'm pleased with how Airco has treated me and handled the situations my AC has handed me.

My ac went out and i paid a 90$ diagnostic fee for a airco employee to come diagnose the problem, and the guy wanted me to pay that plus the 240 repair cost for a bad capacitor, which is only like $50 bucks, i told him no thanks that i will repair it my self. I ended up getting my hands on the part and that wasn't even what was wrong with my ac. So i paid almost 100 dollars to get told the wrong thing plus another $50 on a part i didnt need. I finally called a small local tech that fixes ac's on the side and he was able to fix it in to time!. All it was, was a loose cord that needed to be adjusted. Airco employee didnt even look at it for 5 min before he told me i had a bad capacitor. i feel like they are Just a money hungry company and i will never use their service again.
