Our original experience was an emergency and we had a wonderful experience. However, we were convinced to buy the maintenance plan which was fine because I believe in taking care of our A/c before and after the summer. During both maintenance visits this last year, the tech tried to up sell me on so much BS that we didn't need. This last visit the tech even tried to sell me a new unit and quoted $13,000!! BTW- A new unit for our house is at most $3,000. Do NOT trust these scam artists. Shame on you for trying to take advantage of your customers. You have lost our business for life.

A/C started to ""freeze up"". After several recommendations from neighbors and checking BBB ratings I chose Air Tech of Houston to look at my unit. They arrived on time ,sent pictures of tech's assigned to the job. Told me what problem was .. gave me several options and pricing for each .. due to Covid 19 mask and gloves and ""booties"" we're worn when interacting with us .. work was done in a professional manner.. thank you Alex ( Alejandro) and Michael and your team.

Terrible service. Bought new system. Told me it had 2 year warranty. Had service about 15 times in 9 months. Now wont honor warranty for poor workmanship. Asked for months to have managet call claims that it was never requested.

Went with them based on good ratings. My mistake. Never use them. Have feeling that high feedback rating is fake.

I asked for a quote for new construction full HVAC systems from Air Tech of Houston. Bill and Billy met me at my project on Friday at 4:00pm. Before coming out to look at the job Bill asked my on the phone if I was comfortable paying $27,000 for the system. I found that odd, since they hadn't seen the project and we hadn't discussed the scope of their work.
They sent me a quote for $26,000 on Friday at 5pm. I received an email from them this morning, Tuesday, at 9am stating ""because of your delay in responding, we will not be able to take on your project.""
Very unprofessional. I am glad to have learned that this is how Air Tech of Houston operates prior to engaging them to do my job.

Spend your money elsewhere. The tech came out on a Friday, said the circuit board wasn't making a good connection with the safeties (whatever those are). Said that it was working for now, but if it happens again, he'd recommend replacing the circuit board. It worked for less than 18 hours. Called them on Saturday. They sent me an estimate for $678 (OUCH!), but with the $129 service call credited toward est. Then they called and said they couldn't get the part until Monday (BRRRR!), but if I were willing to pay $100 extra, they could ""get the store open to get the part today [Saturday]"". I went with our trusted tech (who wasn't available Friday, but was Saturday). I still saved over $100 (after paying Air Tech their unjustified, IMO, so called service-call), plus I supported a small business.

Air Tech of Houston saved the day for our family tonight. Called them late in the evening after our A/C went out. The condenser fan motor went out so the unit stopped cooling. Large family in a hot house during one of the hottest weeks of the year. We needed help. Billy (the owner) personally made the trip over and changed out the fan motor. On top of that he also fixed some loose wires, remounted the capacitor to correct work done by another company, tested the unit, checked the Freon, and washed the unit down. Went above and beyond, was kind and professional, answered my questions, and all around made it a very good experience. He even rolled up the garden hose after washing the unit. Exceptional service at a fair price. Will for sure use them again and highly recommend.

When our downstairs unit went out, we decided to get a couple of other bids. After checking the BBB, Yelp and Nextdoor, one of the top choices was AirTech whose very knowledgeable tech did a thorough review of our set up, needs and preferences coming up with a great solution to a long-time problem and also gave us a much better bid. They came that afternoon and stayed until the unit was installed and working properly. The crew was fastidious, proficient, task-driven and were pleasant throughout. It is such a relief to find consideration and competence from the office staff through management. This is the best of the HVAC installation experiences I've had over the years. Thanks to everyone involved.

Always skeptical when you have to do an emergency service call and know of no one in town. I believe it was Roberto Well we were pleasantly surprised. We inspected it together and showed me in detail how the AC worked then did the troubleshooting and gave options to fix it instead of replacing it right away. I'd recommend Roberto in a heartbeat. Wonderful gentleman.

We had a problem with our downstairs A/C. The technician from Air Tech arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He checked to see if the failing part was under warranty (it was ), fixed it, and also gave me some great tips on maintenance. We were very pleased with the service.
