I bought a furnace from this company and also an air conditioning system. Multiple times I've had problems with this company because they don't want to provide the receipt or invoice the same day. They also want to reschedule you several times even when they have agreed on a set time. Overall, people are not very efficient or professional. I cannot recommend them.

Wish I could put 0/5 as a score for this company. They admitted that they incorrectly installed my AC unit (ie: did not balance it at all and left it on the original settings due to lack of experience) and then less than a year later we have spent thousands of dollars on mold remediation because of the bad install. Prior to beginning repairs, they said they would cover expenses and just email them the quotes. And NOW, after we have truly spent $20K+ dollars, they emailed to tell me on further review, we should submit claims with our insurance company. I am furious! And now, they won't call me back!

Not only are they bad at their job, they also have zero integrity.

Air Tech put 2 brand new HVAC units in our home. They did a great job considering this was right after Covid. It's been almost 2 years and we are very happy with their work. They came out to add new returns when we were not happy with some rooms being colder than others. We had to replace a capacitor on one unit which with normal companies would have been a charge. We have a 10 year parts and labor warranty so it was free!! So very happy with them and would use again. Yes, they were more expensive than others but well worth it with that warranty. And we get priority when it comes to outages and repairs. Highly recommend if you want quality work. PS And as far as I know, no one has ever contacted me about cleaning air ducts as another reviewer posted. And it's not listed as something they do on their website.

I called Air Tech of Houston at the beginning of August to come for an annual cleaning of Air Ducts. I immediately received a text to confirm the appointment, which I did, and no one arrived. When I called to express my dissatisfaction from taking time off work to be present, they set another appointment. The day before the next appointment, I received a confirmation text. I confirmed.
2 hours later they were calling me to reschedule, I told them that was unacceptable, and they sent someone the next morning. The tech was only supposed to be cleaning air ducts, as my house was cooling just fine.

The tech , Claudia, stated that my unit was in great condition (which she put in a report sent to me), but that it needed some refrigerant. I paid a few hundred dollars to add some refrigerant, which I had never had added to my units before, and she left.

Few weeks later, my house is not cooling at all. My unit is 3.5 years old, and I have never had issues until someone from AirTech came to my home to clean the Air Ducts. And it is odd that I received a report that my unit was in great condition, and a few weeks later it would stop cooling the home...

I called to have someone from Air Tech come to correct a mistake that they made, and my concern was not addressed.

I was lured into using them by a promotion, and they tried to get me to become a member. I am extremely disappointed with this company.

A big shout out to Jaret at Air Tech for coming to the rescue TWICE on the night of July 4th! The renters at both my long term rental property and then my short term rental property reported their air conditioning had stopped working. Both after 8pm on a holiday!!
Jaret handled both callouts and kept me posted on everything he was doing. Great job!

This service is ridiculously expensive and most techs lack significant experience necessary to give customers the right information to make the right decision.

We were having issues with one room being too hot in our home. We had air tech come out and check out our systems. They told us that both 7 year old air conditioners needed to be replaced to function correctly (total cost of $20k+). Otherwise, I could install a booster fan inside the duct going into that room. Cost would be $2000.

Instead I called another local AC company and they checked the systems out. They said I did not have to replace the systems, that they worked fine, and also notified me that I had dampers on the AC and I should play with the openings and how far open they are and how they impact the hot room prior to doing anything else. Total charge was $100 for the visit.

Happy I didn't go with AirTech.... I messed with the dampers for a day or two and figured out the best way to get air into that room. And now everything is working great.

Avoid AirTech of Houston at all costs.

Air Tech was once a great company to do business with, not any more! They have a monthly service fee and don't do anything they promise. I had a plumber come out last week, he didn't want to do anything, not even check if the AC drain was clogged. The AC guy had previously recommended a plumber look at it. Plumber sure wanted to get a 5 star rating, yet he never sent me an estimate or anything. What a waste of $$, please don't subscribe to their service. You will pay for nothing to be done. They couldnt even give me a time to expect the plumber, just said it was an afternoon appt. Then sent an email 1 minute before he rang the doorbell at 12 noon.
