On 6/24/24 I had a simple plumbing job done by this company. The Moen valve cartridge in my shower broke and needed to be replaced. I have video doorbell, so I know exactly when the tech arrived and when he left. He showed up at 1:01 PM, looked at my shower and said that he needed to get the part. He said that the part cost $76. He left at 1:05 PM. He then returned at 1:38 PM and left at 14:16 PM. He spent total 38 minutes in my house working, getting paperwork ready and collecting the payment. He also told me that he ""waved the service fee"". To summarize: 30 minutes of actual work replacing $76 part. After he left, I come to find out that my credit card was charged $709.55 (invoice # 71795454). I was sure that this was a mistake. I called three times before the ""office manager"" called me back. She checked something and said that that the invoice was correct!!!! I could not believe it. I checked with other plumbing companies just to compare. The usual charge per hour of labor is about $170. So the fair price for this job would be about $160 ($85 for 30 min of labor plus $76 for the part). They unashamedly stole over $500! And I've been their customer for years. My AC was replaced in 2019 by Service Gurus, which was bought by Advanced Air; they replaced my water heater 2 years ago, and did multiple AC service appointments. I even bought their ""comfort club"" membership. So that's how they treat their loyal long-term customers! Beware. This company does price gouging. If you want to be gouged, please use them. Also, keep in mind that the old 5 star Google reviews do not belong to them. They belong to Service Gurus, which Advanced Air bought. Service Gurus were an awesome company. YELP reviews reflect their true nature. You will find many customers who had exactly the same experience. Finally, their invoice does not itemize price of parts or labor. It gives you entire amount. So you have no idea how much was the part or labor. Bottom line: this company is very dishonest. They do not advocate for their customers. They only want to get as much money out of you as possible. KEEP AWAY from them! There are plenty of great locally owned companies that will provide you with honest service.

We purchase a new HVAC system from Advanced Air in 2016. We extended the factory warranty out to 12 years. We had them service the system twice per year for the last 8 years and this May the system went down. The system had lost its charge and the Tech supposedly leak checked and recharged the system and charged me nearly $1,000 and signed me up for their preferred customer plan. After two days it was not cooling again. At this point I request they send someone out and reminded them that our warranty was still in affect. They attempted to sell me a new system for $10,000 and said they had no records of the warranty, I offered to send the contract and paid invoice to them. At this point they would not call me back. I was forced to call the manufacturer and request another dealer (Accu-Temp) that would honor the warranty. They replaced the Coil which was leaking and it was covered by the warranty. I will never recommend Advanced Air again

This company marks up the price of equipment by over 100% and refuses to issue an itemized invoice so you can't see how much they mark up the price. i purchased the gas pool heater from them and had them install. what should have been a 3 hour job lasted 3 days as they either did not have proper supplies with them or unit was not properly connected. Retail price of unit from most pool stores is $3,200. They charged a total of $7,900 for the job. in my opinion this is price gouging. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE GOUGED!!!

Very expensive. 700 for a 20 minute service for a clogged drain that required immediate service and they knew it, I was stuck paying it but would not do it again.

My husband and I have used Advanced Air for over 20 years and have always trusted them. No more. Have a Lennox HVAC system installed 4/11/22. Have done the monthly maintenance to keep drain clean and changed filters. Have bi- yearly check ups done. This check up my technician tells me I have dirt on my coils ( How and when did this happen? 3 other technicians missed it?) Tech told me a completely different story on where I should be placing my filters then what the installers and the last 3 tech said. Then proceeded to tell me I needed a $3535. ( with a discount it was to be $2828.) cleaning on my coils. Needless to say I feel like I'm being set up. Of course my warranty doesn't cover this issue, how convenient.

I had them replace a simple temperature probe in my pool heater. The part was under warranty but the labor was not. The installation was 45 minutes or so. The labor charge was $689 with a $29 service call charge!!!!! Outrageous charges but I was in a terrible bind with grandkids coming who wanted to use the pool with warm water and I was not sure if any other company would have the part. Be very wary when using these people for out of warranty repairs of any kind. Get a second price.

they have become the worst since being bought out. they tell you your warranty includes parts bit not labor yet they charge you 5-10x labor costs of comparable companies to more then cover the ""free"" part. for example I had them price labor to replace compressor and they were $3380 when others were $400. to replace coil they said $3400 when was just $500 through a competitor. they gouge people, specially older people as Ive met several swindled customers. very sad and should lose their license for predatory business practices and inflated pricing. stay away from them if you know what's good for you

New owners of Advanced Air do not honor the warranty they sold me a few years ago. Very, very expensive. Be warned and stay away.

I called for my six month air conditioner check, they came back with a list of ""repairs"" for the unit which totaled over $3000.00!!!!! Instead I called another company for a second opinion, they repaired what Advanced left for a grand total of $150.00!!!!! I guess when you're older, a woman, they think you're stupid, sorry, I'm not!!!! Bad business practice, taking advantage of your customers, overpriced, never again!!!! Beware, they are not a reliable company!
