Advanced Air Home Services of Edgewater is fine for a/c work, but it is horrible for plumbing. They charged me $1350 to put in a shower valve (this took about 3 1/2 hours and they didn't use copper!) and refused to do the drain. My contractor was livid! Even the county inspector said the job was way over priced and should have been less than $500! Another company did the drain (the hard part) and they charged $225!!

This is absolutely the worst company and worst service I've ever dealt with!!!!!! New ac installed with them in May 2019. 3 months after install ac broke down due to the line not being flushed out with install (so they say)! In total since installing my new ac it has broken down 5 times. After the third time it broke down I purchased thier service plan just to have no one come to service it. I called 9 months after I purchased the service plan and they claim they have no record of it. Now it's July and once again my ac has broken down. I called 3 time and all three times I'm given a different time estimate of when someone will come out. They are rude and argumentative and when I finally had enough and raise my voice out of frustration from being lied to I'm threatened by the manager that I'm being recorded!!!!!!!! Warning record every phone call with every person in that company!!!!! They are rude condescending and frankly unprofessional. I had to listen to the manager Charlie make every excuse under the book for his technitions bad attitude and then threaten once again to record our conversation when I get frustrated with his lack of diplomacy. I ended up hiring another ac company that recognized the problem in 20 minutes of looking into the ac. Bad wiring on install causing my mother board to burn out!!!!!!! Advanced Air takes no responsibility at all claiming they are only there to install a product and after that they are not responsible for the unit just a middle man between the customer and the manufacturer of the ac unit. I'm getting ready to rent my house and under no circumstances would I depend on this company. I definitely plan on looking into my legal rights in this situation. If you want quality service and a company that cares about their customers DON'T use this company.

Advanced air was a terrific company 10 plus years ago. Fast forward and they have been sold 2 times and are now owed by a larger Company. All calls are forwarded to a call center for last 6 plus months. If you can get thru which is a big if, you get added to a scheduling group and get a fake appointment which gets charged by a dispatcher. They admit they are under staffed as the experienced tech's left the company. I was out of A/C for 4 days before they showed up. I found another reliable company that arrived in 4 hours and fixed the problem and had me back up and running. And I have a service contract with Advanced air which was not worth anything. The $18 check up is worthless - they don't do anything. It's in place to be first to suggest a new unit. Stay away from this company unless you enjoy Hot Yoga and want to turn your house into a studio at 99 degrees.

BEWARE!! Guy was there 30-40 minutes roto rooted the toilet and charged $720!!! Then my son had to go catch him to come tighten the toilet. I expected $300-400 but $720. That is soooo wrong . I gave them a chance to address my concern and have not heard back. He didn't even leave an invoice.

This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. As a commercial account they lost because of several missed appt. They never show up on appt they give you. They tell you anything if they don't know how to fix the problem. I approved for a new unit to be replaced. They never follow through I have been waiting for a month for them to replace the unit. Do yourself a favor and call someone else, these people will drive you crazy. they office doesn't know how to keep appointments straight.

This company is ABSOLUTELY terrible and has an argumentative account representative. I had a gas dryer installed and delivered by Lowes. After they installed it I noticed a gas smell coming from the unit. I called Lowes again and had them send out an installer to double check and they said it was fine. Still the has smell persisted. This time I went on google to find an independent gas installer to triple check the install. I called This company based on the 5 star reviews. I told them the problem and they sent out a technician. He look at it and said it was fine. Said that smell was from residual gas and after a week or two it'll go away. Three weeks later and it still was smelling like gas but worse. I then called my natural gas provider and told them the problem. They had a tech out in 10 minutes and he had a meter. Said the installation hose was not tightened correctly and that's what was causing the issue. He tightened it and the smell went away instantly. I called Advanced home services to inform them that the tech falsely led me to believe the problem was fixed and something worse could have happened bc of that. I called to simply ask for the refund of 95.00 and the rep, Tasha or something, was terrible and was yelling at me. Saying that she wouldnt refund the fee and that I called them and they are not a gas installer. I said why did you tell me that over the phone she said it's not our problem. I just hung up. Ive learned in life it's easier to not argue with a fool as it gets you upset. My warning to you is dont bother with this incompetent company. I gave them the chance to fix the issue before posting a negative review and they failed miserably. I still need a water softener and water purifier which they offer but will not even bother getting a quote from them. Two big thumbs down

They installed my new Lennox A/C right around a year ago. We bought their extended maintenance warranty and are totally dissatisfied with their service. It is June in Florida, our A/C went down 5 days ago, we called them 5 days ago and they have still not made it out to my house. They just called and pushed the appointment to tomorrow. This company is happy to take your money but they have no follow-up. Fair warning, stay away from this company.

Installed a Daikin unit for me in 2014. Daikin has a warranty. Advance is no longer a Daikin dealer. I tried for a week to set up a service call to no avail. When you call this company you speak to a scheduling person, you can not get to the owner or a supervisor. I'm not sure if ownership has changed hands but this doesn't seem to be the same people who sold and installed the unit, same name, same phone number but not at all responsive and not truthful. They said they had scheduled an appointment with my tenant but they had not. I would not recommend Advance for any service.

Sent out request here on Yelp to install a pedestal sink, Advanced Air and Heat responded relatively quick. Price estimate range was fair, so I booked an appointment. A few days later, Kurt the plumber showed up. He was professional and courteous and did an excellent job installing the sink. I appreciated that he made sure it was done correctly the first time, and didn't try to cut corners to get the job done quicker. Thank you Kurt!
