I highly recommend Able Electric. I hired them this summer to install an outlet outside, troubleshoot another outside that stopped working as well as a few things I wanted to take care of inside. I can't recommend them enough. I plan to call them again any time I need anything electrical done or inspected. Well worth the money to hire a professional company that I know now from personal experience does a good job.

AAA+++ service!!!! Able Electric visited my place after I woke up to a scary fishy/ burning smell coming from my breaker box. After speaking with the lovely Kristi, not only was someone at my house within the hour, but I was lucky enough to be serviced by Bill, the owner, as all other technicians were out on service calls. Bill was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, and fixed the issue at almost the same speed at which he had arrived. Also very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend Able Electric to anyone looking for a professional and honest service.

Pretty good business -- I had an issue with an electrical outlet, and of course found out the reason why it wasn't working right before the electrician got there. My luck! Though, the invoice reads as if they figured out the issue, lol.

He was there probably about 5 minutes, and just agreed with what we found out about the outlet before he got there.

Overall, I'd recommend them again. This was probably a profitable visit for them, as they still charged the $150 to show up. Oh well.

We have had a number of projects done on our home in Placerville by a Able Electric. We have had them put in a new panel to include our generator plug and we've also had ceiling fans put in. Every job they do is well done, clean work that is very reliable. They come when they say they're going to come and Kristi in the office is very good about scheduling and keeping me informed of when the workers will arrive. I highly recommend this company.

We love our residential kitchen lights that were installed last week.The two gentlemen that came to our house and put down plastic everywhere they walked, were courteous and professional. Most of all they did a great job taking down our ugly kitchen fluorescent light box and putting up canned lights with a beautiful yellow glow and minimal holes in the ceiling. Our kitchen looks so much better that we wish we would have done it sooner. Reasonable price and scheduled quickly. I highly recommend Able Electric.

We've hired Able Electric three times and been very happy with the outcome. The jobs have gotten progressively more complicated each time and they have done excellent work. They updated our sub panel, installed a transfer switch for a generator, and finally, completely replaced and updated our main electrical panel. They are prompt, courteous, and responsive. We recommend them highly.

Able Electric installed new panel for our 45 year old home that was in severe need of upgrade. We have heard that our old panel has caused house fires, and are looking to install a 2nd panel (eventually) for the second residence. This was phase one of project. Nicole at the office was always updating us with schedule and timing. She was so gracious, taking a lot of emails/calls during this crazy time. Depsite numerous reschedules and delays due to Covid and PG&E protocol, we finally had Jeff out to due the work. It took almost two days along with a couple other repairs. He was timely, polite, courteous and answered all my husband's many questions. We are impressed with his professionalism and how he even got along with our crazy hyper dog. Bill came out and made sure the upgrade was ready for final inspection; super helpful troubleshooting a panel that was never labeled properly for the house. We look forward to calling Able again when we are ready for the next project.

Able Electric is amazing! If I could give them six stars, I would. Kristi and Bill, the main people we worked with, were professional, prompt, honest, thorough and excellent communicators. In the middle of very challenging times they completed a huge rewiring job, got a complete inspection pass and even referred us to a handyman to do the carpentry repairs. Wow!!!

And, the job was completed way earlier than was originally estimated and under budget!! How often does that happen?

If you are considering electrical work in your area, run--don't walk to Able Electric.
