They did it again! Replaced another garage lamp set (they are getting old) with a better set, and (since my doc said for me to not get on ladders) replaced the bulbs in the garage door openers, since none of them worked. Wait. It gets better. Found out that one was short-circuited and replaced the socket, in five minutes. Probably saved us a fire (if I did it.) I will never do any electric without Able Electric.

I had an electrical emergency over the weekend and Bill at able was the first to quickly call back. We discussed my issue over the phone and explained the weekend was considered overtime so I was concerned about cost.

Bill showed up on time and diagnosed the issue in less than a minute. Before he arrived he asked me to text pictures of my breaker box so he could have parts ready. This was a great idea because when he arrived he had the part needed to fix my problem. If he had to go get parts it would have cost me at least another hour.

Bill worked diligently and efficiently to solve my problem and I truly appreciated his efforts to ensure he was cost effective.

Highly recommended if you need an electrician.

If you are looking for an Electrician in Amador County look no further than Able Electric. They are the model of a well run company...responsive, informative, and deliver exactly what they are contracted to do. We had a 20kWA Generator installed at our home in Pioneer, which arrived when they said it would be, then installed on the date they scheduled. Quite frankly I was amazed that their crew was able to move the unit (over 600 lbs) from the drop off point over a steep, somewhat muddy slope to its final resting place. The workmanship was from my perspective perfect. Besides doing a great job for us, everyone from Bill, the owner to the staff was a pleasure to work with. Can't go wrong with this company!

I had a small job that needed to be rescheduled by me. Able was all set to come out and do the work that day, so it was unfortunate that I had to reschedule. Their staff was most accommodating, and we rescheduled this outdoor job for a different day. I could not be happier with their work and attitude. The weather was terrible on the day the work was done, but I certainly didn't hear any complaints. The work quality was superior, and the electrician was very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to use Able Electric at any time, and would recommend them to my friends.

Being new to the area, I didn't know who to call for help removing my kitchen lightbox and replaced with recessed LED's. They did an outstanding job! They were on time, cleaned up after themselves and are very pleased with the outcome. We would highly recommend Bill and this company.

Top Notch Company. I found them through the Yellow Pages, and was completely impressed with how thorough Bill was in checking my house and giving me an estimate. I own an older home ad had a complete Kitchen remodel. All the work done on time and the communication was fantastic. I needed a outside electrical plug installed. I called Able Electric as I have used them before and they were great. Once again I wanted to leave another review because John, the electrician, installed an outside outlet within a box to keep weather out and a switch next to the plug to be able to turn the outlet on and off since I am using it to run the pump for the faux rock fountain in the garden. This way I do not need to plug and unplug the fountain every day. I would have never thought of doing this and I am so glad John suggested it! Another great experience with Able Electic!

Having recently moved to the Pollock Pines area, we were in need of an electrical contractor. While there are any things I will attempt as a homeowner, playing with a 110 volts is not one of them. ok, ok, I can change a ""face plate"" pretty well!! Have used Able Electric twice recently. Once to update light fixtures and add a light to a closet. Very happy with the job which was done on time and efficiently. The real test was on a Saturday with a non-working freezer full of food. Bill was available by cellphone and encouraged me to continue searching for a GFI switch that would restart the affected plugs. Problem solved without a service call. We'll definitely use Able next time.

We lost power on a Sunday morning - our only day off of the week. We called PG&E, and several hours later got the bad news: our main breaker was not working. We called Able Electric and they were the only electricians that you could even talk to - let alone get help from - on a Sunday. Bill went the extra mile to get us the help we needed and we had power back on by Sunday evening! Doug was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring :) He got our breaker fixed quickly and we felt good about the work that was done.
Don't call anyone else - call Able Electric! You'll be glad you did.
