The owners launched the company in late 2003 after welcoming their first child. In the beginning, Angie handled operations from home, securing business, organizing visits, and handling the books while looking after their daughter. Anthony would take care of jobs after his full-time job, and it wasn't long that the business outgrew their home. Before long, Angie and Anthony welcomed another child, found a location, brought on office staff and service technicians. Thus, Anthony quit his full-time job to dedicate himself to AA Service. The business expanded rapidly. With a long list of satisfied customers that grows daily, AA Service and Repair - North Florida AC is deeply embedded in the Jacksonville region.

Born and raised Arcadia, Florida, I graduated of Desoto High. I hold a degree from the UF. I possess EPA credentials, mold services certification, licensed mechanical contractor, plumbing contracting certification, licensed building contractor, NATE credentials, and LP gas certification.

Had techs out twice. Both times neither one knew what they were doing. Failed to clear the drainage pipe. Gave us a time estimate of service call from like 8am to 7pm.

This is a fraudulent company! The worst. They quoted me $580 for a 'leak test'. This involves connecting a tank of nitrogen to the unit. Takes less than 5 minutes. They then say they will 'discount' it 35% to $365 AND you need to pay this in advance (because they know you will see it takes 5 minutes and you will tell them to get off your property afterwards). BBB should shut these frauds down and I plan to do all I can to help that be accomplished. The worst!!,

Buyer Beware!!!

Especially if your AC Unit is under Warranty DO NOT use this company. They do not honor warranties on parts. You will pay a flat rate and will not be give an itemized bill to determine what and how you were charged. To replace an $1100.00 part, I was charged a total of $2495.00. When I asked to be refunded for the part portion of the bill, they would not honor the 10 year warranty on my 5 year old AC unit.

The office workers are rude and lie for the managers. Two different managers told me they would call me back to discuss my bill and I never heard back from them.

There are too many other companies that you can use to have your AC fixed. Don't waste your time and money with this company. If I could give them zero stars I would.

AA North Florida AC installed my new unit in early 2017 and just recently conducted a maintenance in March 2018. It is September and my HVAC was not working properly. AA North Florida said my freon was low and it would cost me $500. Having just shelved out thousands of dollars for this new unit AND had maintenance done just 6 months ago, I was furious. After making such a stink over this, the office manager, Mary, reduced the charge to $400 which did not please me either. I told her to complete the work because I did not want my tenants without air over the weekend, but that I was going to share my experience on social media. Mary said because I was going to share negative feedback, she REFUSED to allow her technician to do the work. Three times, I asked her to complete the work and each time she said because I was going to share negative feedback she would not allow the tech to perform the work. Office Manager, Mary, refused to allow me to speak with anyone higher than she. I tried to contact the owners, Anthony and Angie Schreiber, but since Mary would not allow me to speak to anyone else, not even the tech, I was not successful. I contacted another HVAC vendor who charged me LITERALLY half the price AA North Florida AC was charging for the same service. NEVER in my entire life have I been denied service that I was willing to pay for. I would not recommend this company.

This company is a joke. Sending someone to do a free estimate only to ask us to pay a nearly $300.00 trip charge that was never disclosed? No. Quoting us almost $2,000.00 for a blower motor (over $1,200.00 after a 'generous' discount) with no sensible explanation as to why? No. Having an honest A/C company come out to tell us exactly what was wrong, and to pay less than $400.00 out-the-door? Heck, Yes! Don't waste your time with these clowns as they will try to rip you off while saying ""God bless"". They are so bad that I'm inclined to believe that ANY rating over one star is fabricated.

EDIT: Knowing where I work, this place actually went to my employer and complained about the fact that I made a complaint about them!!!!!!

Purchased a system from them three years ago. Installers were horrible. They replaced the disconnect box at the Air Handler and did not put the wire in conduit. They didn't even put rubber grommet to in the holes to protect the wires.

I called to complain and was told that all work was done to code. I kept the system off because the exposed wires were unsafe. After complaining for two days a supervisor finally came out to check out the install. He tripped the circuit breakers and declared everything a success.

I showed him the exposed wires and he said conduit wasn't required indoors he reached up to open the disconnect box and got shocked.

He then said he would install a new box. This time flexible conduit was installed between the disconnect box and air handler, but he wasn't able to get the safety cover back on. Said the wires were too big. Safety plate is still sitting on top of my water heater.

About a year later the system went out. A different supervisor came out and found a clogged drain line. This was the one and only time I have been satisfied with this company.

So, last week the system goes out again. No display on Thermostat. Checked drain line and it was dry. Called for service. Technician arrived and I explained the problem. He immediately calls another tech for advice. So, needless to say this wasn't making me feel comfortable.

About four hours later he tells me the problem is the thermostat line and quotes me a price of 1,980.00 for the repair. Folks, I worked in electronics for 20 years in the military and no way I'm paying that much to pull 50 foot of wire. He didn't even do resistance checks on the line.

I called a supervisor to express my concerns that the diagnosis was wrong and he stated that after reviewing with the technician that the problem was in the line from the Air Handler to the Outside Unit and that I should just pay the $1,980.00 and they pull both lines.

So I installed the thermostat on a short line for diagnostics and everything worked fine. I bought the cable and ran a 50 foot line from my thermostat to the Air Handler and I have a fully functional system for two hours of manual labor and $40 bucks in material.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all cost.

My name is Joseph Davenport I worked with AA for one week, when I went to get my paycheck on Friday, after calling to make sure it was there. I get there and had to wait in the parking lot for 39 mins only to be told Im not getting paid! I don't want u to give me nothing I didn't earn but instead of that U lied and had me waste money to come for something u wasn't going to pay me I worked for u one week and quit because of u ripping your costumers off I will not participate in taking people's money and over charge them but hey you steal from workers that make your money not even saying how much u get your costumers for so I'm Shure your business will crumble soon u a scammer. And lier see u with the wage and hour bord Angie so report the post because I reported my pay to bbb and wage and hour bored u need to be more honest in business and u would make so much more without extremely over charging your customers that's why u always need workers not because of there grammar u will hire anyone u can keep pay from
