Anna received her journeyman electrical license back in 1978. She was among the first women licensed in Dallas, TX. Anna spent close to ten years at The City of Dallas, gaining experience in motor and refrigeration circuits, security lighting, wiring for hazardous areas, and standard wiring. She contributed to the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical systems for libraries, fire stations, police buildings, and park facilities.
She exited The City the day prior to the birth of her first son (she has two grown sons) and decided to shift her focus to her family. During their early years, Anna accepted small jobs while her mother cared for the boys. As more opportunities arose, Anna had built a small business by the time her boys began preschool.
Her business thrived on referrals alone. Customer referrals were my only advertising method. I understand that every customer has the power to influence my business's future.
