I grew up in Dallas, TX. I graduated at North Garland H.S. in 1994. I went to Grayson Community College, was enlisted in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS John Young, and completed two tours in the Middle East. Afterward, I joined the USN Reserves in Fort Worth as a Navy Seabee.

I studied at I.E.C. Independent Electrical Contractors School and completed my training in 2004.
