Since then, four generations of the Schoolcraft family have contributed to the Basin Electric legacy. Yet, the success of the company is not solely attributed to the Gamblin and Schoolcraft families. The commitment of our employees and their families has played a crucial role in the company’s development over the years. We began our journey in 1950 with a mere six employees. Amid the economic struggles of the mid-80s, when others were folding, we carried on with just three employees. Today, we are a thriving family of over sixty employees at Basin Electric. In 2014, we took a significant step forward by merging with Just Macs, a local technology company led by Henry Greer. This merger allowed us to evolve into Basin Electric & Technology.
