Originally from South Dakota, I obtained my license in Austin in 1982. I may not have been born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could! With a father who was an electrical contractor, I started working in the field during my teenage years. I passed my first Master Electrical Contractor exam at 24 in 1976. I have four grown children, and I also have four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In my leisure time, I enjoy volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, or running in local fun runs that benefit various charities.
