Stan decided to venture out on his own. In 1954, he and his wife founded their own AC service company, focusing on his skills and dedication to customer service.
The initial office for Stan's was in the backyard of a residence at Denson and Guadalupe. Central air conditioning only became affordable for many central Texans in the mid-1960s. The Stan's Family has always been a leader in the installation and servicing of air conditioners in Austin, and we take pride in continuing that legacy today. Stan's has broadened its services to include all plumbing needs and continues to support the Austin area with a large, skilled team of plumbers.
