Anna obtained her journeyman electrical license in 1978. She was one of the pioneering women electricians in Dallas, TX. For nearly a decade, she worked with The City of Dallas, gaining experience in motor and refrigeration circuits, safety lighting, hazardous location wiring, and basic electrical work. She was instrumental in the design and upkeep of electrical systems for various public buildings, including libraries, fire stations, and police facilities.
Anna departed from The City just before her first son arrived (she has two grown sons) and chose to pause her career for her children. During their early years, Anna accepted small jobs while her mother cared for the boys. More jobs came her way, and by the time the boys started preschool, Anna had established a small business.
Her business thrived on referrals alone. I relied entirely on customer referrals for advertising. I understand that every customer has the power to influence my business's future.
