In time, Mr. Stephens opted to sell the business to someone who could maintain the quality and ethics he had built. David Bragg was that individual.
In the year 1982, Mr. Stephens asked Mr. Bragg to purchase the company. Of course, David saw this as a golden opportunity to own such a reputable company and embraced the offer.
In 1986, David saw that the thriving company needed to expand its reach, so he established the business under the name “Stephenville Electric, Inc.”.
I came to Stephenville to study at Tarleton State University, got married, had children, and decided to stay. I proudly call this town home, and I enjoy being a business owner. This venture has opened many opportunities to build and enhance not only my business but also a network of friends. Our journey began with electrical services and expanded into Watson Insulation under our management. I am excited about future expansion this year with the start of our solar power division.
