For 33 years, Mr. Stephens operated the successful enterprise after opening its doors. Eventually, Mr. Stephens opted to sell the business to someone who could continue the legacy he had built. David Bragg was that individual.
In the year 1982, Mr. Stephens approached Mr. Bragg to buy the enterprise. Certainly, David saw this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take charge of a respected company and seized the opportunity.
During 1986, David realized that the growing company needed to expand its reach, so he incorporated the electrical business under the name “Stephenville City Electric”.
I relocated to Stephenville to enroll at Tarleton State University, settled down, raised a family, and called it home. I consider this town my home, and I take pride in owning my business. It has provided me with opportunities to grow and develop not only my business but also a network of friends. We started with electrical work and added Watson Insulation under our leadership. I am excited about future expansion this year with the launch of Solar Power.
