For more than thirty years, Mr. Stephens led the successful business after opening its doors. In time, Mr. Stephens chose to retire to someone who could continue the legacy he had built. David Bragg was that individual.
In the year 1982, Mr. Stephens asked Mr. Bragg to purchase the company. Naturally, David saw this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own such a reputable company and seized the opportunity.
By 1986, David saw that the expanding company needed to expand its reach, so he established the business under the name “Stephenville City Electric”.
I relocated to Stephenville to attend Tarleton State University, settled down, raised a family, and called it home. This town is my home, and owning my own business brings me joy. Owning this business has given me opportunities to build and enhance not only my business but also a network of friends. Our journey began with electrical services and expanded into Watson Insulation under our leadership. I look forward to further growth this year with the introduction of solar energy solutions.
