She dedicated almost ten years to The City of Dallas, where she trained in motor and refrigeration systems, security lighting, wiring for hazardous areas, and basic electrical work. Anna played a key role in designing, building, and maintaining electrical systems for libraries, fire stations, police stations, and parks.
Anna departed from The City just before her first son arrived (she has two grown sons) and chose to pause her career for her children. During their early years, Anna accepted small jobs while her mother cared for the boys. With an increasing number of jobs, Anna had created a small business by the time her sons entered preschool.
