I began my electrical journey as a helper in a high school work-study program. During high school, I worked half days, weekends, and summers.

I attended Sam Houston State University in '82 while working as an electrician. I paused my studies to work full-time with an electrical contractor for a few years. Eventually, I went back to SHSU as a licensed Journeyman and worked as a Maintenance Electrician. I completed my degree at SHSU with a BBA in General Business Administration. At the same time, I received my first Electrical Master’s License from the City of Huntsville. I continued working as an electrician for several more years on significant commercial projects in Killeen and San Antonio. I spent 9 years in Electrical Sales at Summit Electric Supply while in San Antonio. I passed the State Master’s test, opened my business in '04, and now operate six trucks.
