In 2016, I moved to Texas to establish Lighthouse, my own electrical contracting business. I sought to establish a local business that enables me to work from home rather than traveling far and wide for electrical projects as I had in the past.
Having been raised in the construction field, my Grandfather guided me into the electrical trade. I began my apprenticeship at a young age. I learned from seasoned electricians about quality electrical installations. I continue to find joy in the challenges and distinct skills that electrical work entails.

I have served as Project Manager for some of America's top electrical contracting firms and major international contractors, overseeing projects with electrical scopes exceeding $60 million. Although I love the challenges of large-scale projects and major firms, I decided to launch my own company after relocating to Texas in 2016.
I feel that the experience I gained from overseeing large projects and portfolios, combined with insights into successful company structures, is best leveraged in a business I can create from the ground up.

Founded in Dallas, Texas, on April 1, 1977, Humphrey & Associates began as an Electrical Contractor serving the Dallas/Ft. Worth construction markets. Skyler's electrical career started when he was only 12. He continued in this field until he was 21, at which point he joined the military. Following 3.5 years of service in the Army, he went back to electrical work while being part of the Army Reserve. In 2016, he earned his journeyman’s license and is now pursuing his master’s license. Skyler handles the day-to-day operations, material procurement, quality management, and our internet visibility.
