I launched my professional path straight out of high school in 1990. My training helped me obtain my first role with a construction business in Greenville, SC. I worked my way through trade schools and ascended in my career. I ultimately became part of a leading global construction firm, where I worked as a Foreman until COVID-19 changed the landscape.
I recognized this as an ideal time to pursue different avenues. After observing friends having difficulty securing trustworthy workers for their homes, and experiencing similar issues myself, I decided to establish Rent A Guy Upstate with my daughter and youngest son.
We officially opened our doors on March 1, 2022, marking 10 days of service. During this brief period, we have successfully completed 5 or 6 jobs.
