I began my journey right after high school in 1990. Through my schooling, I landed my initial job with a construction company in Greenville, SC. I progressed through trade schools and moved up the ladder. I found a position with one of the world's top construction companies, and I held the Foreman position until the pandemic halted operations.
I decided it was time to seek new opportunities. After witnessing many friends struggle to find reliable help for their homes, and experiencing similar issues myself, I was inspired to launch Rent A Guy Upstate alongside my daughter and youngest son.
As of March 1, 2022, we have been in operation for 10 days. In this short time, we have accomplished 5 or 6 successful projects. Our current priority is addressing our largest hurdle: advertising.
