Prior to relocating to South Carolina, he served as an electrical superintendent at a salt mine in Louisiana for over a decade.
He oversaw the electrical program, created safety protocols, designed programmable logic controls, and supervised a crew.
Wanting to start his own business and prioritize family time, he relocated with his family to the Lowcountry to launch Knighten Electric.
Amanda and Oree Knighten are the proud owners of Knighten Electric.
With a background in communications and sales, Amanda enhances the construction sector in South Carolina.
Oree has dedicated more than 24 years to the electrical field.
