Paul is a trained trombonist with a diverse taste in music, ranging from Bach to Metallica, Cake, Jared & The Mill, and a collection of lesser-known bands. He is a member of the Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Dem Bones—a trombone quartet, and Bone Wagon—a brass rock group.

In addition to running Lavallee Electrical Services, Paul has served as an advanced-level electrical instructor at the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation for the past five years.

Paul and his wife are in the process of remodeling a home in Clinton, and he’s probably grilling a pork loin this evening.

While I provided Handy services during the slow months, I now aim to take a step back and concentrate on what I love. As a professional, I follow the intended design and standards of my work.

I subcontracted with the Handy app for four years in Gulfport, Mississippi, covering areas from New Orleans to the Alabama coast. My work includes installing, repairing, or replacing electrical garage doors, roof repairs, sheetrock refinishing, vinyl siding repairs, appliance fixes, electrical outlets, plumbing repairs, and the installation of products ordered online. I began my training at 16 in Job Corps, and at 17, I attended maintenance school in Las Vegas, where I acquired knowledge in texturing, priming, refinishing, electrical work, appliance repair, A/C troubleshooting, and plumbing installation and repair. At 20, I relocated to Hattiesburg, MS, where I married and raised my family. For six years, I managed a furniture store and pursued side work in the areas I had learned about. I transitioned to being an automotive painter for six years, gaining skills in bodywork and collision repair, which I practiced for more than ten years. I transitioned to a PDR technician role, pursuing storms for around ten years, while also doing handyman work in my free time. For the last five years, I have been working out of Gulfport, and I have decided to move to Jackson. Now, I find myself here, relishing another beautiful day.
