Paul, a classically trained trombonist, has an eclectic taste in music, appreciating everything from Bach to Metallica, Cake, Jared & The Mill, and a variety of lesser-known artists. He performs with the Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Dem Bones—a trombone quartet, and Bone Wagon—a brass rock band.

While operating Lavallee Electrical Services, Paul has also been teaching advanced electrical courses at the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation for the last five years.

Paul and his wife are in the process of remodeling a home in Clinton, and he’s probably grilling a pork loin this evening.

Originally, I started as a paintless dent repair service for vehicles affected by hail damage. For five years, I subcontracted with a well-known company, PDR Lynx, which provided me with consistent work. During the off-season, I offered Handy services, but now I want to slow down and focus on what I truly enjoy. As a professional, I follow the intended design and standards of my work.

For four years, I worked as a subcontractor with the Handy app in Gulfport, MS, serving regions from New Orleans to the Alabama coastline. I have installed, repaired, or replaced electrical garage doors, roof repairs, sheetrock repairs and refinishing, vinyl siding repairs, appliance repairs, electrical receptacles, plumbing repairs, and installations of online-ordered products. I have received numerous five-star ratings for my work.

In San Diego, CA, I became a certified carpenter, and in Las Vegas, NV, I earned my maintenance technician certification. I began my training at 16 in Job Corps, and at 17, I attended maintenance school in Las Vegas, where I acquired knowledge in texturing, priming, refinishing, electrical work, appliance repair, A/C troubleshooting, and plumbing installation and repair. I moved to Hattiesburg, MS, at 20, married, and started a family. I worked at a furniture store for six years, managing operations while finding side work in all the areas I studied. I then became a successful automotive painter for six years, where I also learned bodywork and collision repair, continuing in that field for over a decade. Later, I worked as a PDR technician for about ten years, following storms, and in my spare time, I took on handyman jobs. I have spent the past five years working in Gulfport, and now I have chosen to relocate to Jackson. Here I am, enjoying another beautiful day. Support your local guy.
